No they never gave me one but I had like a Faja that I wore a couple days after the surgery and it felt good. I work for TSA so we'll see what happens tonight with these crazy passengers

great, on full liquids. exploring avocados and cheese, . the pain is none existent... im almost afraid of forgetting about the surgery and exerting myself... what stage are you?

The first 3 days that I came home after I got my sleeve I had severe dry mouth and blurry vision. Well the only thing that I could think of that it would be is my nausea patch so I pulled the patch off and within the day it got better I still have dissolvable nausea pills just in case but I haven't needed them thank God

The pain was horrible the first night since then I've been sore but it's been better. Just try to walk around it might be air or gas

Well last night I didn’t sleep much and I still have a little pressure from my incision sites but I saw my surgeon this morning and he gave me the green light to go home, I’m just waiting on my discharge papers. I do have a little headache but I’m eager to get home and rest in my own bed, hopefully then I will get some sleep. Overall I’m happy with my decision surgery wise, hospital wise and surgeon wise.

not too bad the only pain I feel is the co2 in the abdomen and chest, feel like I can't burp, but the initial walk around the recovery floor is alleviating that... honestly the worse part by far was the anticipation and fear. Thanks Dr. Mir Ali and the staff at Fountain Valley Regional... it's been a great experience this far

So today was my surgery. I was at the hospital at 7am and I was done with surgery and recovery and in my private room by 11:30. It was so smooth and all the staff has been so polite and nice, coming to this hospital was the best choice for me and doing this surgery was the best decision. My stomach does not hurt so much but my back is killing me from all the gas. I knew it would hurt but i didn’t know this much. Some friends came to visit which was very nice to know i had support and I’m so happy to start this new journey of life.

Ah, I see. Well, I'd guess there are a few options: 1) tell the other couple about your surgery and drink water; 2) don't tell them about the surgery but tell them you're dieting and drink water; 3) tell them in some fuzzy way you're on medication and can't mix it with alcohol, and drink water; 4) accept a drink when everyone else has one and then not drink it . . . with Water on the side.
I know people have widely varying positions on telling other people--I'm one of the folks who tells everybody about it, basically because I know what I'm doing and why I'm doing it and don't give a crap about someone else's probably ill-informed opinion about it. Actually, though, I've mostly gotten supportive comments.

Hi Mamalala! After 1 week post op you should be able to transition to a full liquid diet, which includes creamy strained Soups, sugar free/light yogurt, and Protein Shakes.
Premier Protein is by far the best tasting Protein on the market and has the highest protein content with the least amount of calories.
I would definitely check with your doctor's office to make sure this is ok, since everyone's post op needs/instructions vary from person to person.

I just had my sleeve 6 days ago. The recovery is rough but I can feel in the end I am gonna be happy with the results! I lost 7lbs in six days! Summer body here I come! Don’t be scared, I was scared also, but you just have to stick with what your DR tells you. Good luck!
