    Need a good LIE

I told people I had my Gall bladder removed, which technically it was, and now I just can’t tolerate many of the foods (high fat, sugar, carbs) that I used to eat.

    Hospital Bag

I would just caution against bringing anything with a heavy scent. I had to share a room, and if my roommate had brought aromatherapy oils or scented lotions I would have cried.

How have your follow up appts been going? Are you following your meal plan?
  12. I don’t know how far into the process you are, but start working on your “life style” menu. The liquid and purée stages are short lived, but rethinking how you prepare and what foods you serve will be forever. Get the kids involved in preparing/Choosing/shopping for meals

What do you do to get back on track?

Set a goal with a time limit and that is measurable; run a 5k or fit into my size ___ again by March 1st, or track everything I eat for 3 months, etc
  14. The incisions are small and the pain is minimal so it shouldn’t really be an issue
  15. Never heard of this. I would assume if you are eating healthy then your skin would be healthy, thus improving scars. I really don’t know though
  16. What’s a food you actually miss? Mine is a sub sandwich. I want one with a huge roll, meat, cheese, mayo, etc!
  17. I do every morning, but each person is different

    Cold

I’m at 16 months and still always cold ☹️
  19. This was me for weeeeks! Once you start to eat more food, energy will follow. By 6 weeks, shouldn’t you be on some type of foods? Also ditch the patches, they are garbage.
  20. I’ve tried soda once or twice since surgery (16 months out) honestly it tastes so gross. Like chemicals. I do drink the occasional beer or white claw without issue though
