  1. Look, I was asked a question on this site, and the question was are you a real preacher? And when I answered the question and stated my beliefs, I was told by someone on this site that they did not believe in these fairytales. I did not call anyone an atheist, I said that some say they are atheist, and like I said no doubt some are truthful about it. And what I said concerning them I will not withdrawal one word, I will continue to stand on God's word concerning such matters no matter how much you try to persecute me or the God that I serve. You know what I think is very ironic? I think that it's very ironic that people who don't believe in the God that I believe in fight so hard against someone they don't believe in. Why are you so afraid and fight so hard against Him if you don't even believe He exist? you can't deny this or you wouldn't keep coming back here with the comments that you're making. What ever, or whoever you believe in is no threat to me, so I wouldn't comment about it if you did post about it, because I'm not afraid of anything or anyone that I don't believe in. This whole thing is really no surprise to me at all, it's people like you that really strengthens my faith more and more in the God I serve, because I figure that if so many fight so hard against Him even when they say they don't believe in Him, then to me He is a mighty powerful God who is more worthy of my praise and servitude. This trend being moved to something that is called the lounge is no surprise, everyone tries to shove God on the back burner in the day and time which we live, but God declares in his word, that heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall never fail. Moving this trend that gave so many people comfort and peace in their life when they needed it the most to something that is called the lounge in my opinion is disgraceful. Even after so many has fought to keep it the way it was, it is still here, majority means nothing anymore, the realization is there's always going to be a small majority of naysayers, so what do we do? Neglect all those of the majority to satisfy a couple people. No one can say that this trend didn't have anything to do with weight loss, it's whole focus was centered around people on the journey of weight loss and surgery. I think I have hit the nail on the head, and said all that can be said, therefore I will not reply to any more of your post no matter what you write, so go ahead, make another comment on what I've said and prove me right. I realize that I may be banned from this whole site, but so be it if that's what happens, I think it's time that someone takes a stand for what's right, and that's exactly what I'm doing. God knew exactly what He was saying, when He said there'd be a day when people would call good evil and evil good. His word regarding this has surely come to past. As the Bible says, I will not even bid you Godspeed. The Preacher !

  4. I would like to clarify a few things, first I guess the reason I posted this trend in the gastric sleeve forum, is because it's the forum that I read the most, since I'm going to have the gastric sleeve surgery myself. It was never my intention to leave anyone out who has had or will have a different kind of surgery, I truly never even thought that people would take it that way. Secondly, the reason I titled the post the way I did, was because I felt like I offended some on other post when I shared my belief in God, I thought that it would be obvious for people who read my other post and knew exactly my beliefs and what I stand for. I thought when they saw it was me that made the post they wouldn't open it and be offended by it. Thirdly, all you had to do was just not enter the trend, and even if you did, when you read the very first post that I made, all you had to do was back out of it, myself if I start reading something and it doesn't go along with my beliefs I just stop reading it and get away from it, and that's as far as it goes. Fourthly, I do not believe that anyone has to go through me to talk to God, all of his children have direct access to Him any time of day or night and can call upon him their selves. I want to make one thing clear, it has never been, nor will it ever be the case that I am trying as one poster said to cram my beliefs down anyone's throat. My only true intentions was to help people in the best way I know how, I know not everyone believes the same way I do, and that is your right, and I don't condemn you for it. But the one thing that I don't understand is, why anyone would try so hard to destroy something that brings comfort to another human being in a time of need, even if you don't believe the way I do. May we all find understand toward one another. The Preacher
  5. It seems that you have a very big misconception about true Christians, first off it is not about what denomination of church one belongs to. I don't know your beliefs, and it's really none of my business. But I would like to say, no matter who we are, or what we are, according to the Bible we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. I do not believe for one second that God hates you, nor do I hate you, God is not a respecter of persons. The Lord didn't pick or choose what type of people He would die for, it was for all humanity. The Bible states in John 3:16 that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. The Bible says, that is not God's will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. So you see, as a true Christian I believe there is forgiveness for all humanity, that means you and I as well. No matter what you think about me, and even though I don't know you personally, I can truly say, God does not hate you and neither do I. With Love! The Preacher

Your Feet & Shoe Size ?

I'm going to have surgery in September, I could use a new pair of shoes before long. My question is, has anyone's feet gotten smaller after weight loss? I wear size 11 1/2 now, just wondering if I will need a smaller size after weight loss.
  7. Amen! & Amen! That's a wonderful testimony, thank you for sharing it with us. It made me think of a couple Scriptures, I'll share them with you because I believe they go along with your testimony. Psalm 46:1 (KJV) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 18:1-2 (KJV) 1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. May God continue to bless and strengthen you. The Preacher
  8. Plz pray for me. I have a god fearing mom who is continuously praying for me, I’m praying for myself but any additional prayers would be amazing. I’m nervous and anxiety is through the roof! 3 days remaining until i undergo my first surgery. I'll be more than happy to pray for you, it's as you said, I'll take all the additional prayers that I can get. May God richly bless you! The Preacher
  9. I'll certainly be praying for you, and by the way, you're having your surgery on my birthday, when you get out a recovery we can celebrate together. God bless you. The Preacher

Your Feet & Shoe Size ?

I have noticed that my feet are getting smaller.
  12. God bless you for your encouraging words, I am truly thankful that God has allowed me the opportunity to meet people like you and others here. Around 22 years ago when the Lord saved me, I purposed in my heart that I would serve Him no matter what the cost, even though we go through the storms of life sometimes it is still worth it all. After all He is the one who calms the storm, it's amazing how He can give us a piece that surpasses all understanding! As long as the Lord allows me I will keep on keeping on, I'm truly thankful that the Lord watched over you and saw you through the surgery, just one more answered prayer! God bless you! The Preacher
  13. God bless you for your request, I just went to the Lord on your behalf and will continue to do so, I'm praying that the Lord will keep His hand upon you and guide the doctors that will perform the surgery. May God in all of His infinite mercy watch over you take care of you. The Preacher
  14. Notice what ellie123 said ! Thank you all so very much for your encouraging words the prayers and well wishes prior to my surgery I needed all of it and it made a world of a difference in my confidence level going in. This is exactly what this post was intended for, to help someone who is facing or going through a difficult procedure or time in their life. This proves that this post can and will accomplish what it was meant to do, yet there are some who insist on trying to tear it down. I guess maybe I should have titled the post a little differently than I did, but I thought it would be very evident by the other post that I have made on this site that I was talking about the God of the Bible, the God that Christians believe that created the heaven and the earth and the fullness thereof, in our view the only true and living God. In respect to others who have the same beliefs as I do, if I did not believe in the God that I'm talking about I would not even have opened this post to start with, but if I did I would have kept my silence. No one is trying to force this belief on you, so if you don't believe as we do just don't click to open this post, it's that simple. The Preacher
  15. God bless you. thanks for your post. You're right, Jesus said He was persecuted and even hated, and He said the same thing would happen to us as well. You're also right about prayer, Jesus said to pray for them that persecute you. Many claim to be atheists no doubt many are, no matter what they confessed to be they will stand before Almighty God someday in judgment, then they'll no longer be an atheist but it'll be too late then. May God bless! The Preacher
  16. Good morning, it's another day that the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it! I have read each one of your prayer request, even though I'm making a multi-quote post, I'm praying for each one of you individually according to your specific needs. Praying that God will richly bless each one of you! The Preacher

  20. God bless you, and thank you for your prayers and kind words, it's good to know that I have a sister in the Lord like you. I believe that you are genuine, because as I read your post I could feel the Holy Spirit bear witness of it. As I read your post the Lord brought a certain Scripture to my mind, I will share it with you. Matthew 25:31-40 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. May the love of God richly bless you my sister. The Preacher

  22. I just want to let everyone know that I have read every post that has been made thus far, and will continue to do so. I truly appreciate all of the kind words that you have posted, I truly and sincerely am praying for each and every one of you on here because I know that's what the Lord wants me to do, even I myself always stands in the need of prayer, after all the Bible does say pray ye one for another. Even though I don't know any of you personally, I do love and care about you, that's what it takes to be Christ like. My prayers are that God will richly bless each and every one of you! The Preacher

  25. You are right, it is an amazing thing to see how God works in the lives of those that come together in unity, in one mind and one accord. He said were two or three are gathered in my name I shall be in the midst. What a promise! God bless! The Preacher
