  1. I did do a search but didn't find anything specifically related so.........

Just about to hit 10 months and I'm having serious hip issues. Since the weight loss they've been bothering me, kind of feel like they are on the verge of dislocating but not sure as it's a new feeling. It's happened in both hips but no more than an aching pain. This past Friday when I was waking up I noticed the familiar feeling again in my left hip. When I got out of bed it was really painful to put weight on it. I had to walk on my toes on that leg and limp to keep weight off of it. When I sat it was fine but standing or walking on it was really hard. I was outside doing some work and sat on a low tool box and when I went to walk it felt better but didn't last long. Onto Saturday, the same thing but now it would come and almost go. I was standing in the kitchen making Breakfast and just slightly moving the leg It kind of felt like it fell out of the socket and there was intense pain. As I moved my leg around, certain positions would relieve the pain but slightly moving it in a different way would make the pain worse. Today it was much better but out of nowhere I would move my leg and the pain would kick in. I don't know what makes it happen or go away but it sucks. I'm going to call my PCP tomorrow and ask about it but wanted to reach out and see if anyone has experienced anything like this. Also today I noticed the same pain but nowhere near as intense in my right hip.

Thanks in advance for an insight!!!

  2. Not much change for me. Down about 10lbs in the last month and a halfish. At around 1000 calories a day. 100g Protein or more and 100oz or more of Water daily. Still not working out or walking. Simply have zero motivation to start. I know I will get results and further along the weight loss but just can't find it. Eating well except for a piece of bread here and there. Never any Pasta and rarely any rice. Everything else is protein or veggies. The Protein Shakes still take up two or three meals a day but that's what keeps my protein levels on track. Had the 6 month with the surgeon and he's happy with the results. Wants me to lose another 50ish lbs before he corrects my umbilical hernia and possibly gets rid of some skin fro the belly, I forget what he called it but he also has to correct a muscle just under my sternum that has stretched and he initially thought it could be a second hernia which he said he will also stitch tight back together when he goes in for the hernia.

  3. I just heard this quote from a YouTube dude I watch @Mr Ben Brown. I first heard of him from a series he does called " Visual Vibes" . It's mainly just video with great music and great scenery of trips he's been on. I find him to be quite inspirational although I did not expect it when I 1st started watching his content. The video he said this in is called "a human in 2018". You don't have to know his story to appreciate what he is saying...... Anyway the quote is

"I was born into this world a human being, not a human doing"

We struggle with so many thoughts about the future or the past. What can we do to be better or what could we have done. JUST REMEMBER TO BE IN THE MOMENT. Not quite the point he was making but this was my interpretation of it.
