Let’s talk about sliming
This is a very popular topic on the forums. You can search for slimies or foamies and learn more than you ever wanted to know. UGH!

Shoot overdid it and angered my sleeve.
Yup, nothing like a good spanking to get you back in line Hope you feel better soon!

Brilliant, Ash! Especially #4 for people who have long "liquid only" phases!

Snacks YES OR NO
For outings, nuts are a great choice since they don't need to be refrigerated

How long did you wait until you had your first alcoholic beverage???
Hmmm, I was planning on a Margarita at some point. Bummer. What surgery did you have?

Snacks YES OR NO
I've bought these before. The entire bag (large size from Sam's) disappeared almost instantaneously. I forgot to hide it and write "MOM" in big, bold Sharpie letters! I feel guilty "hoarding" food, but with 3 sons, ages 22-24 in the house, if it's not hidden, it's gone!

Snacks YES OR NO
As much as I know they are processed cr*p food, I miss crispy so much!

How long did you wait until you had your first alcoholic beverage???
Thanks, but it was self-preservation for me. He's the romantic who remembers all the details. I'm the one who would probably have forgotten!

How long did you wait until you had your first alcoholic beverage???
Other than Communion wine, I'm planning to wait until my Anni-birth-sary in July. That would be 5 months post-op for me. (Hubby and I have the same birthday, so we got married on it ) I pretty much drank wine every night before surgery but I don't really miss it all that much and I know that the acid would eat me alive right now.

Lung infection
I'm so sorry. I hope you start healing soon ((hugs))

Help needed to keep fluids down
Your acid reflux pill is probably a PPI. I take prilosec twice a day. Since your stomach is a muscle to which you have just been extremely unkind, my surgeon prescribes a muscle relaxant for the first month to help it heal. I don't know whether that's common or not, but it might help.

So I guess we all hope you have the flu?

Freaking Exhausted
Wow! As you can prove you were on a long-term birth-control method at the time, maybe that won't be an issue. You were taking (what seemed like) adequate precautions.

Help needed to keep fluids down
Are you on a PPI? And did your surgeon prescribe muscle relaxants for your stomach?

See if your doctor can give you something for the nausea, either liquid or patch to help you out.

35 day Post Op Update (with pics)
Sadly, true hunger usually goes away for a while, but head hunger and cravings are a real, ongoing battle.

35 day Post Op Update (with pics)
You are a man dedicated to the truth! Congrats on your success so far. You prove that you don't have to be perfect, but it sounds like you're right there 99% of the time. Your pics are amazing, the change is very noticeable! It's nice to hear how supportive your family is. I love your good, bad, ugly theme. Thanks for sharing and good luck on your journey!

Just Another Facet of Weight Loss?
Good luck tomorrow!

Just Another Facet of Weight Loss?
The extra fat in your abdomen puts pressure on your bladder, so as that is reduced, you will likely have fewer leakage episodes. Can't speak to the other issues.

Anyone use Premier Protein Clear drinks during pre or post op?
I go about 50/50, but it's entirely up to you and your sweetness preference. I had the tropical punch.
