Has anyone had a bad reaction to protein supplements? Whether it is shakes, clear protein drink or broth I double over in pain and have to run to bathroom. Was fine before surgery. One wk postop. Wondering if whey allergy. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app -
Struggling too. Weak, mood is a bit glum. Also diarrhea. Patience is the key word, something that tests me.

3/26 still on liquid with broth now. Protein shakes did not agree with me so on clear protein drinks. Definitely hungry but doc says no food yet.

Pain again after morning shake. Took an hour to drink. Then diarrhea. Is this dumping syndrome?

Was able to do a second shake but very very slowly. Never made third one. Thanks for all the suggestions.
