  1. Quite a few people have experienced this. They usually pinpoint the hormonal changes from the surgery as the problem. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Hey all! Wondering if anyone has found a good unflavored protein. Starting full liquids and would like something to put in my soups. Also, how much soup are you using per scoop? Kinda tired of the sweet shakes.... Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I'm glad you decided to do this while you're still "healthy". That was my motivation. Do it while I was still "just" fat... especially with my family history. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. I'm glad you found this before you totally lost motivation. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. The difference have been a little confusing for me too. I have 10 days of each: clear, full, soft/purees. Even though I see others get to advance quicker, just gonna follow my surgeon's recommendation. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. That's awesome! Thanks so much. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Does anyone know how to get the app to predict weight loss? Mine is saying it won't because I'm taking in less than 1000 calories. Also, I just got mine, are there any features you guys found especially helpful? Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. I understand your concern when comparing to desk jobs. If it helps, I'm a nurse on a busy unit working 12 hour shifts. Went back 1 week postop and haven't missed a step. I think 4 weeks will be fine. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. I can't wait until I can get fully under the water! Your bath sounds amazing Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. I was honestly at 100% by my 2nd day at work. Being forced to participate in society is much better for me or else I would just lie around at home. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. I thought I was hungry but realized my gas pain and my preop hunger pain are exactly the same. So, as of yet (1 week), I haven't been hungry.
  17. Lol love that you said tune up. Glad everything is moving forward. Nice to see your progression Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  20. It is soo good that you have a positive outlook!!! Keep that mindset when things start getting tough (hopefully they never do!).
  21. 1st: I think it is so awesome you are here to support your wife!!! 2nd: More likely than not she is taking too big of sips. Which is especially taxing since protein shakes are thick. She should try taking smaller sips or even watering down the protein. It may just be too much for her stomach to handle at this time.
  22. How exciting! Good luck through this process.
  23. That's a good way to look at. I think I'm mostly bored. So I've been adding some spice to things and have been getting better results. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
