  1. Miss_Tee, have you tried other sources of protein? I'm curious in what I should stock up on.
  2. Awesome MACPOWER! Glad everything went so smoothly.
  3. I totally understand. I was doing everything I could not to be in my friend's birthday picture last night. Then my sister reminded me that it could be my last "big girl" before surgery, so I braved it.
  4. Woot woot!!! Keep us posted. SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  5. Good luck tomorrow! SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  6. Oh snap, right around the corner. How exciting! SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  7. I would love to be comfortable on a flight! I'm totally jealous of my friend who can curl up in the seat and enjoy the ride. I'll settle for not feeling like I spill over into other seats. SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  8. I totally understand. I have a friend who would question whether women actually liked him. When he was overweight, couldn't get a date. Once he lost it, couldn't keep the women away. He figured women only liked how he looked, not who he was as a person. SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  9. Bahahaha thanks for the heads up. Will use this as my not so secret weapon. SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  10. I totally understand, I'm the same way. But, I keep telling myself how will I feel if next year I'm the same (or heavier). And I know how uncomfortable I am now. I get especially worried when I see how winded I get doing compressions or having to run a patient to ICU. I need to know that I'm in the best shape for myself and those I care for. SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  11. [emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1] As a nurse, I get pretty darn excited about gas after surgery. Glad yours finally broke free!!! SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  12. I'm glad you are able to look past the obstacles and see the support systems you have in place. And it will be especially good to have some young blood in there while you're going through recovery [emoji1] SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  13. That's good to know. I'm 4 weeks until the big day so I'm trying to keep a clear head SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  14. Go 'head girl. Get it! You look amazing. It's a good visual for those of anxious about the procedure. What a motivator! SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  15. I like hearing the good, bad and the ugly. Want to have a very good idea of what to expect. SW:275 GW:150 Height: 4ft 11in VSG: 5/11/2018
  16. Feel the same way. But keep telling myself to push through as I am tired of constantly being anxious about will I fit there, can I walk that, will I break it, what's the weight requirement etc etc etc. Or panicking when I tried skiing as I had this horrible thought that I wouldn't be able to stand if I fell down...since currently I have to do the whole turn around and get up from the knees
  17. That's so great! Looking great too.
  18. 5/11 over here! I'm so ready and nervous at the same time. Just keep telling myself I'll feel so much better in 6 months. I'd rather deal with some stomach discomfort than heave ho this fat through life.
  19. I'm definitly keeping it close to the chest. Though I don't want to, I might tell my dad in the off chance something happens
