My surgery was also postponed - three times, actually. It sucked. I wanted to start my new life ASAP. I was so excited to do things that were challenging for me as a heavy person. I decided to start my new life regardless of my surgery date and embrace the extra time - like having extra time to study for a test. It really helped me through the anxiety and the uncertainty of having my dates rescheduled. It also helped me lose 50 pounds before surgery and get me to a lower weight on surgery day.
I didn’t ignore the crappy feelings and took the small victories where I could. I don’t know if my experience will help at all but I hope this time isn’t too tough for you. Waiting is hard. But as they say, don’t quit before the miracle happens!

I have had small amounts of treats here and there. I count them as a meal or snack, even if it’s just a tiny bit. I also have maintained or exceeded my exercise goals throughout. The sleeve is a tool to help me but my efforts and choices are the key.

I couldn’t take any vitamins - everything made me throw up. A doctor at work recommended these two liquid multivitamins to me and I can take them with no problem. I buy both the morning and night formulations and I buy them on subscribe and save so I save like $7/bottle. I also take half doses so each bottle lasts me two months instead of one, as the same doctor recommended. They’re delicious and don’t have any artificial sweeteners in them. I don’t get sick to my stomach and I can take them with or without food or drink.
