Just received the call from the dr. Office that my surgery has been approval. She just submitted my paper work on Monday and my last nutritionist visit is the afternoon. CRAZY. Now my nervous are really kick in. Surgery date is July 25. OH SH&T.

I'll take that, mine is all liquid and 1 day before only clear. Going to double and triple check with my nutritionist today. 14 more days [emoji51]

If all approved surgery is July 25. Very nervous but going to look forward to the new me. We all will soon be on the loser bench.

One thing I going to enjoy doing after my surgery and losing the weight. Is taking tons of pictures with my son, I was always hiding behind the
Camera.

Here in Florida [emoji274] if all goes well I am scheduled for July 25. My last nutritionist visit is the 11 and submitting all my paper work for approval.
Since every day I change my mind on surgery my nerves.

Not scheduled yet but the process has begun. And if all goes as planned my last appt with the nut is may 17 so I am looking for end of June date. Hope all keep going smooth and insurance (UHC) approves. 🤞

I appreciate the kind words of encouragement. I’ve lost about 15 lbs since surgery (and nearly 60 total since the beginning of November). I decided to take my wife to dinner this evening. I had about 4 ozs of Soup and feel about 1000% better about life. It was so nice just feeling “normal” again.

Please follow the serving size on sugar free hard candies. One ingredient causes explosive diarrhea if you choose to eat more than the recommended serving.

Good morning, I have been reading everyone amazing journey and congrats to all and the amazing success.
I just tuned 50 female and i am 5'3" weight 215 BMI 38 pushing 39, I have hypothyroidism ( thats when my weight went out of control), high blood pressure and High cholesterol.
I started my journey last month met with Dr he said I was a good candidate for gastric sleeve using robotic surgery. Dr. has me doing the following, 3 visit to Nutritionist, one psych evaluation, upper gi, blood work, get clearance from Cardiologist and general Dr. I have already had one visit to the nutritionist and she place me on a diet with no sugar or carb.
My insurance is UHC and when my Dr office called they just told the standard no define months on supervised diet so we are going with 3 months and try. I have a deductable so pretty much I am paying all.out of pocket. ( will be disappointed if I go thru all this and not get approved)
I have great support from my husband and sisters. But looking for support that are and have gone thru this process.
