  1. Hey February peeps! How’s everyone doing? Haven’t heard updates in a few weeks! Sleeved 2/26 so I’m one month this week! Go to my second post op Friday. Feeling good for the most part and def losing! My body feels and looks different. I am thinking of starting HIIT training after I meet with Dr.

  2. How’s everyone feeling. I was sleeved 2/15. I’m down 2 sizes and feel like I can take in more Water today than even this morning. I just had 12 oz of water in about 1 hour when before that would take several. Anyone struggling with purée (current stage) Or liquids are you starting to feel a little better ?

I am having the hardest time eating. Decided to stick to liquids for a bit longer. I feel like everything gets stuck between my chest while the food goes down. No bueno...[emoji24]

  3. I'm also almost four weeks out (Surgery 2/12). My post op diet seems more rigorous than most I've noticed here. Two weeks of liquid, three weeks of pureed, three weeks of soft and then FINALLY real food. I have to admit that it's getting me down - I know it's important, but I will have gone without anything solid for two months.
I'm struggling to get enough fluids and it seems like when I focus on that, my Protein goals suffer. I just need to find that balance. Protein Powder in my pureed foods help, but honestly I'm over that. LOL I find I'm leaning on Protein Shakes to do what I need to do.
My other challenge right now is that I feel like I'm not losing weight as fast as I thought I would. At three weeks I was down 13 lbs from my surgery weight. I've been reading a lot of people reporting that they've lost 20, 30 lbs or more in the first month. I'm following my meal plan closely, haven't "cheated" at all and I've only lost 13 lbs over three weeks. I feel like at this pace it will take forever to get to my goal weight and that has me seriously bummed.
Ok, guess I've vented enough! Sorry you asked, aren't you? LOL

This is honestly how i am currently feeling. Surgery date was 2/21 and lost 12lb..maybe its the anxiety of seeing results already?!..

  4. Let me know how your doctors visit went please. I don’t see mine until tomorrow and experiencing a lot of sharp pain. I was sleeved 02/12. Pain should have reduced and seems it’s getting worst. I’m getting really worried

Saw my doctor.. he mentioned Neosporin with pain relief ointment. I bought it and incisions feel better.

  5. I was sleeved 2/12 and still experiencing midsection pain. It’s pretty sharp and constant. Happens when I’m stretching, bending and even when I’m just been sitting too long. Really annoying and frustrating. I’m going to see my Dr. this coming week. My incision are fine but that damn pain is keeping me down.
