    Pregnant and Banded...come join me!

Juno, that test is so boring. When I was pregnant 3 yrs ago - preband - I failed the first test and so I had to take my second test on a Saturday. 5 of us big prego ladies sat in the lab that day re-doing our tests UGH. I ended up with ges diabetes. I hope having lost weight before my next one I can beat the odds of having it again. We do IVF in July

    Pregnant and Banded...come join me!

Congrats on Aara joining the world! YEA!! Glad you are both healthy and doing well. Let us know how your restriction goes. Are you nursing? Just wondering if that causes more tightness or not??? Before my band when I nursed I was hungry, hungry, hungry. I wondered if it feels any different after banding???

    i miscarried.....need advise

I have had a lot of years of dealing with Infertility and miscarriages. It is so hard and I'm so sorry for your loss! I have this book... Empty Womb, Aching Heart: Hope and Help for Those Struggling With Infertility (Paperback) by [ame=http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url?%5Fencoding=UTF8&search-type=ss&index=books&field-author=Marlo%20Schalesky]Marlo Schalesky[/ame] (Author) I just found it again on Amazon.com. I really love the way it deals with all sides of infertility from losing a baby to never getting pregnant. Maybe your library has a copy you can get right away? Of course you need to do what is right for you but just to let you know I've had 3 miscarriages and D&C with all of them. It was just too painful for me to do the "wait and see" approach. I'm praying this time will pass quickly for you.

    How normal is this?

After my 3rd fill, I struggled with thinking I was overfilled too. My Dr. used fluro so the chances were slim that he put in too much fill. I had to retrain my eating habits, AGAIN :huh2: I had my 2nd fill for 7 months and had gotten used to eating a certain amount. Try to go back to the basics. Take a few bites and listen to your body to signal you, if you are full or not. Don't take for granted the portions you have been eating are what will work for you now. I can eat 5-7 bites of tuna and be completely full. That was not the case before this last fill. Good luck and I hope that helps.

    Cyrena's Weight Loss Journey - 99lbs total
  7. By far my best friend was the heating pad. I brought it to the hospital with me and to this day, use it  So comforting on a sore tummy and now it helps when I have gas pain, but that might be TMI.
