I am appreciative of everyone sharing their recent post surgery experiences. I feel more prepared for tomorrow. Thanks for the candid details. I am suffering from allergies right now due to the 9.9 pollen levels here in Florida and feel pretty crappy. With the wild temperature swings I am scared I will end up sick and they will make me delay. And yes, I feel like I am having a pity party

I have been on my liver shrinking diet of 4 protein shakes and on lean cuisine type meal for 8 days, and have lost 10 lbs...but I am hungry! I had my final pre-op appointment today for surgery on the 9th. I'm nervous and excited, too. And so grateful to come here and see I'm not alone.

I am taking 4 weeks off, luckily I am in a position to have paid leave.

I used to live in West Palm/Lake Worth then moved north to Martin County and finally settled up here in north central Florida about 6 years ago.

I am having the surgery on March 9. I am very nervous/excited also. I would like to have kept my surgery a little more private but have received a lot of advice from a coworker who is a fellow sleever. So instead of assuming they will keep my confidence I have been pretty open about it. Also my mother-in-law, who can't hold water, saw my obesity surgery folder. Normally I am very private person so this is a little uncomfortable for me, but I am hoping it will help hold me accountable.
