I love that you took time out to share your story. Thank you and congrats!

I only know she said she "didn't make my bypass length very long." I guess cuz of my lower BMI/weight?
That’s interesting. She didn’t mention any specifics? I remember reading a post somewhere on here and the lady mentioned that she has a 3M bypass as she struggled with weight her whole life. Her surgeon must discussed that with her as from my understanding the standard is 2m. No right or wrong in any of it, I’m just curious

Thanks for the replies, thankfully its moving nicely again, and i'm down 30lbs now after 10 weeks, so its averaging out now, for anyone that has a stall, dont worry they are temporary, just have to have the patience to ride them out. Also i think it helps that i am now able to eat a bit more which is actually helping with the weight loss ironically!
How are you getting on now?

Sleeve to MGB .. I'm in the same boat, weight loss extremely slow. 7 weeks post op, surgery 170, today 156, it goes down a pound then up a pound or two. [emoji30] I wanna go back to a liquid diet ...

Hi I got my mgb on 23rd jan. Recovering great and managing and tolerating most foods etc. My surgeon told me the day following surgery that he left my pouch bigger because it was no longer safe to operate. Also said he bypassed 2 m .....does anyone know if this will effect my weight loss.
Same as me, 2m
Loosing slowly, 6kg down in a month...

It is and I will
Any news on your date frust8?

I had the mini done on 3/1/18. I don’t know about my weight losses yet though. I’m still retaining so much Fluid from the the IV’s and travel that my legs and feet are so full of fluid. I’m not going to weigh until next week.
Hope your recovery is smooth. Update when you can

Well today is the last day of February and I want to thank, each and everyone for allowing me to hear your stories, share in your success and empathizine with your trials. Today still will be surgery day for a few of you. I know over on the sleeve side SleevedSoulSista is having hers, today. Thank you for making me feel one of your own, even if my tummy is still unbypassed. Perhaps March ,Perhaps April. I have 2 introductory seminars to attend, one on March,9th, one on March 10th. I am certain one will fit me me better. When you have been back-stabbed or lied to, it is difficult to step forward, with full trust. But my God didn't make no junk, I am a good person worthy of the surgery I so earnestly desire. I am a katlady, I will land on all 4 paws and go forward. Look for me around on one of the other month forums, I intend to be a Bariatric Paller until it's finished. Love and Hugs your kakatlady612. [emoji197]

Best of luck, you have demonstrated a perfect display of compassion, empathy and love for so many. I’m sure many others agree, we will be cheering you on, hopefully your journey won’t be too much longer. I’m sure that the heavens are organising the perfect surgeon and the perfect date for you to continue your journey. When things are out of our control, we need to trust and have faith. You have done everything possible. Your time is coming, and I for one will be following your journey. Sending love [emoji177]

Anyone had the mini bypass this month or am I the only one?

Perhaps there is no one else in NYC on this forum scheduled at the same time. Your request isn’t unreasonable, we have all wanted to connect with people, I guess that is why we are on the forum.
You will find support here
