Check with your Dr. I didn’t have to do purée and was able to go from liquid to soft . HW 242, SW 236- (Bypass 12/20/17) GW#1- 199 [emoji736] (2/11/18) GW#2- 175 CW 184 5’6”

Hello again & what might I need to know?
Was really an easy process for me ... recovery was a breeze other than getting in water (and the gas pain for two days after surgery). I can’t even consider eating breads and high sugar / fat but otherwise eating has been really great All the best ! It’ll be awesome and just fine HW 242, SW 236- (Bypass 12/20/17) GW#1- 199 [emoji736] (2/11/18) GW#2- 175 CW 184 5’6”

How to get enough fluid during the day
I agree with Matty...that sounds like a lot of food which is maybe what is making her not feel well. I think she should be at like 2-4 oz MAX of food every 3 or 4 hours. Agree with others around fluids...everything liquid counts! so dont just count water. Im just over 3 months out and I still struggle with fluids..... also agree that sugar free popsicles are the BOMB and save my life. But my nutritionist says 2 max a day so 10 is a lot. Good luck...keep coming on this site. Call the Nutritionist if you feel you need to.

Successful surgery but able to eat too much
Same here! I easily eat 4-5 ounces of protein plus veggies with no issues and don't really feel "full" either. BUT the weight seems to be coming off just fine so maybe Im just being a freak about it. I think its the listening to others experiences where they are full after 1-2 bits and here I am eating like 3/4 cup or more. I see my NUT next week so Im asking then but in the meantime I feel like I should be restricting myself more....so Im with you on that
