    Felling down

Try milk of magnesia for now. Ppl have good luck with that. I would add miralax to 1 liquid a day here on out if allowed. It mixes up clear in a drink.

    Feeling weird

Well yea. You didnt get enough calories to burn all that up. Go eat. I crash like this too if I dont get enough calories in.
  3. Not judging. Well I do have some food isssues, lol. How did you know?
  4. Honestly, I worry about that nicotine test which they will be testing for cotinine , its by product. You MIGHT scoot by on the blood test if your drinking loads of water. Urine test can show up to 3 weeks for a regular smoker. And eat right this week. We want u to succeed so its time for a come to Jesus moment and get it together for YOU. My insurance which is through the military from hubby, Tricare. If I DON'T pass the nicotine test , they will not let me have the surgery EVER. I don't get a second chance. I quit and best thing i have done for myself in a while.

    First visit with surgeon!

I too have Tricare Prime. To my amazement when my referral came through I am seeing a surgeon on base. Have all my nutritional appts next month and labs and move on to tbe next.
  10. Ahh , being nervous is normal. I think we all feel that. Even though I am still doing my pathways to surgery, thats what my surgeon calls them. Our members here ^^^ have gave u some great advice. REMEMBER why you are having this surgery and why you have made it this far. This surgery will be a tool you will use to help with that part of your life. I hope to hear an update on how you are doing.
  11. I really think all surgeons think differently. My Surgeon doesn't believe gastric bypass is the gold standard. Hes says it used to be. He does sleeves and Sips now. He is a awesome Dr. and only surgeon that has gave me his cell number. I am hoping to get my wls in May.
  12. I am in the same boat. I will take and use my NUT advice after surgery. My surgeon does not require me to lose weight. You have to take care of you. I have 3 nutritional appts next month. We dont have to spread our appts out over months.

    Any other April 2018 Sleevers?

I will go over with surgeon on what surgery is best. @mitchjoann132010, the hospital is on a military base which does the surgery. Since we are not referred off base, some are, as long we met the requirements and do the classes mentioned we are good. My dr could add on more test if he feels its needed. Your journey has been alot so far but looks like you are almost there. And its not a easy way out. And we all have different journeys. And I know you will succeed. You seemed to be as sweet as they come and we all need friends in this.

    Any other April 2018 Sleevers?

Hi, I am new here too. I have my 1st INFO meeting Wednesday Feb 21 st. I was refferred by my PCM. We are military so all this will take place in FT STEWART, Ga. I was very suprised with a phone call the day after my referral. Its was from General Surgery dept to set up the info meeting. I found out we have a few nutritional visits , blood work, and psych eval then meet with surgeon. I also have a fit husband of 22 yrs who is very supportive. I will tell my mom and my adult girls when the time is closer. My mom loves me but can be quite negative. So it would be great to have friends thru this journey. It will be a little while before i know a date. Have to get a gew things done 1st.
  18. Alabama Weight loss center in Birmingham, Alabama. Heard great things about this place. They will do 30 BMI with self pay . The do ins too for all others
  19. Kat0000

    Doctor refused

Honey change docs. Its not up to them to control your life. If YOU meet requirements make a fast change. I have a PCM. ONLY saw him twice and said i want wls. I actually did this today and he put in a referral for me and said it should be no problems being authorized. I have a INS thru tricare east. We are military. If he would of said no due to his OWN BRIEFS, I would of 2 options, turning to a patient advocate or change to another PCM in a hot minute. Its about what your ins will do not his damn beliefs.....
