Oh wow, people are asking questions on a forum! Shocking!! Absolutely abhorrent behavior. Ban them all!!

That’s almost 5 pounds a week! I don’t see how you could think that’s slow!! That’s great! Congrats!!
Stop comparing yourself to others. You have no idea what their starting weight is, their height, or if they are even telling the truth. My suggestion is to measure yourself, and only weight yourself every couple of weeks or so. When you aren’t seeing the pounds come off, you’ll see the inches coming off!
I had to stay away from these sites for a while too because I kept comparing journey to others. Just stick to your plan and keep up the great work!!

We took some wonderfully awful photos at the beach this year at the very start of my diet. But I know exactly what you mean...I'm the resident photographer, so there aren't that many of me, and the few out there have me strategically hiding for the most part.
But those beach pics? Those are the ones that I'll use. Shockingly bad. LOL:)

It’s all very personal. I didn’t have that luxury of keeping it quite because I am the surgery scheduler for the hospital I work at and had my procedure at. Most conversations at work post-op are about my weight, how much I’ve lost, what I eat and how much... it gets very tiresome. Good to keep things in your inner circle. Those of you taking only one week off should consider using FMLA if you have it and having the option to take more than a week to heal and rest. You’ll need that time. JMO
