has anyone on here already been approve from Kaiser with their BMI lower that 40 and no other health complications?

I just completed OPTIONS on January 29th. My surgical consult is scheduled for February 27th. We have been told that there is an average weight time of 77 days from the date of our consult. I have lost 10 lbs since starting OPTIONS in Novemeber, and Kaiser requires a 10% weight loss prior to surgery so I have 12 more lbs to lose. I am so excited I am with Kairser west LA office as well. I start the OPTIONS program on the 21. Please keep me posted on your progress. I am so glad to see someone around my weight getting is also because everyone is convinced that I don't need this and that I can work out on my own but they don't know my journey and my yoyo so I am glad. How was the OPTIONS program ?

hello , so i am in the exact same positions. I haven't started the options program yet because apparently . They are always full but my classes do start on February 21. How are the classes. I also see you BMI is lower for the surgery im worries that if i finish these classes will the insurance not cover me because I lost a little bit of weight. Are those your concerns as well? Let me know

So I am definitely a newbie here. My insurance requires a 12 week program prior to scheduling a surgery. So my classes start at the end of February so i am definitely trying to get this done and trying to get some type of support group going. I come to all these forums to get info and some real answers. I am nervous because I'm pretty young and don't have any children. I do want this to effect my children and I have never had surgery in my life but i am definitely look forward to it and side bar I am not telling anyone but my boyfriend since we live together I have no choice .
