I am officially almost two months post op and I have lost 41 pounds!! How much did y’all lose two months out?
I’m 16 days post op, how often do you work out, also what does your diet look like on a regular day?
-
I had the sleeve in 2006. I had some success but learned to eat around the band and gained enough back to want revision surgery. I’m 5 weeks post op with the sleeve. I don’t feel restricted like many of the sleevers who did not have revision. There is some but not like with my band. I’m only down 8 lbs since surgery but only have 32 pounds until I reach goal so weight loss is expected to be slow. My advice to you is figure out what motivates you to stay on plan, follow the plan, get your exercise, and log EVERYTHING! Head hunger is a b***h!
How are you feeling 5 weeks post op? I’m 16 days post op. This head hunger is no joke.

Eeeeek! I am SO excited! I met with the surgeon on Thursday and got the approval today! My ideal surgery date is May 15th which is hopefully going to be possible! I can't believe that I am this close!
Congratulations!!!

Had a couple vodka shots with Crystal Light. Feel fine. A touch tipsy but no complaints there. [emoji23]
How far along are you?

I’ve had a slice of turkey with a smear of guacamole. It was almost decadent. I chewed it to purée stage before swallowing. I can only introduce one new food each day. I was sleeved 4/5.
Ok that’s good to know, I just had mashed potatoes. So goood! With juice of pot roast. I just went to target and picked up tuna and chicken to make salads.. looking forward to that

How is your progress? I’m 13 days post op

When we’re you sleeved? What else have you tried I’m so curious to see what people have tried at my stage

Hey! I actually feel great! Today is exactly three weeks since surgery. I am down a total of 35 pounds since me pre surgery diet. I have not lost anything in over a week. I think my body is trying to catch up. But psychically I feel amazing. Just mentally trying to figure out what to eat, how much to eat, when to eat and make sure I get my Water in. It’s been hard, but still so happy I did it. how are you feeling?
I’m feeling pretty good, the only thing is I can’t figure out what to eat. I’m trying to get all my Protein in. Surgery date was on the 7th today I’m 18 pounds down. I’m just so hungry and ready for some soft foods

My surgery date was April 4th and I’m doing pretty well so far. I have to keep reminding myself to take it easier, because I’ll be really active one day and totally exhausted the next. I’m getting in my Protein and trying my best to get in my Water too. We just take it one day at a time. I can’t wait to move to puréed and soft foods next week. So very ready for food! [emoji16]
Glad you’re doing well! What are you eating now and when will you start soft foods?

I was sleeved March 27th and I feel hungry All.the.time!!! Am I not eating enough or not drinking enough?!! I am still on soft foods but also started working out this week and feel like I need to figure out this new body! It’s hard.
I was sleeved on the 7th how are you feeling?

I'm in the process of having a revision from band to sleeve. Anyone else have it done? Did you do better with the sleeve? Is the weight loss slower or about the same as those who have the sleeve for the first time? I did well with the band for a few years, but years of complications, food getting stuck all the time, I've gained all my weight back and then some. Just curious how others are doing that have gone through a similar situation.
Hello, I had my revision on the 7th of April I’m 10 days post op.. im feeling ok. Just the head hunger is what gets to you. I’m trying to drink all my liquids. It gets overwhelming at times but other than that I’m feeling good I’ve lost 17lbs
-
I had the sleeve done 4/9. My diet has been Clear Liquids for the 1st week and then “soft proteins” for the next 2 weeks. Think eggs, Beans, yogurt. I’ve started testing a few foods and when I’m eating them sometimes I get a tinge of pain and feel like I can feel the food moving through. Has this happen to anyone else? Maybe I’m not ready to start real food?
I was sleeved on the 7th just today I had yogurt it tasted so good, I’m so tired of liquids. What other foods are you eating?
-
I had surgery on 4/5/18 and am down 9 pounds. When I started this journey I was 238, my surgery weight was 207 and now I am 198. I am finding that I NEVER get the full feeling and its probably all in my head but I seem to always be hungry (even while eating). I am on pureed foods now and was told I can have mashed potatoes but I can not tolerate them. Last night I had 2 ounces of tuna and for once since surgery I felt satisfied. Good luck with your upcoming surgeries!
Hello, I was curious because I’m starving lol. I was sleeved on the 7th of April I’m still on liquids. It’s horrible how did you manage?
-
I go in at 5:30am and surgery is at 7:30am! Just gotta get through this whole day of my clear liquids!
Congratulations!!!

Don't worry! It will go well. I'm 10 days post op and I resumed a normal life except for the food and few pounds less. It's so worth it
good luck tomorrow!!!
