  1. Smooth Move tea. Sold in herbal tea section everywhere.
It tastes like licorice...and it works great. But be careful not to drink it too often, it can cause problems if you start drinking it every day.
Make a little smoothie with prunes and applesauce...that works, too.
Super common problem....lots of threads about it if you go back a few pages.
Narcotic pain meds will stop your poo machine. If you're not off them, get off asap.

Thank you!!! This is a lifesaver!

  2. Hey everyone! I hate to bring up this little situation but I had my sleeve successfully done January 30th. Yay! I’m 34lbs down from my highest weight of 298. Yay! Here’s my question. How long before I have a BM?? I haven’t had one since the day before surgery. I feel super constipated and I was going to call my doctors office Monday morning but I figured asking y’all wouldn’t hurt either.

  3. To all of you on your liquid diet or starting it soon...this will be the hardest thing you are having to do because we aren't used to it. But after a couple days you will feel better! Remember to have your broth when feeling tired and little strength because the salt is important. Just go easy on the broth if you have high blood pressure. I thought I couldn't do the liquid stage but if you want the surgery it is extremely important to shrink the liver. Most Obese or Morbidly Obese people have fatty liver which makes it difficult to perform the surgery. I have heard that some doctors will not do the surgery if they look inside at the beginning of surgery and you didn't do the liquid diet. It feels like hell now because your stomach is still big and hungry. After surgery you won't want even broth at first. The only thing I wanted was ice chips and sugar free popsicles. Good Luck! Hang in there!
