I’ve tried them all. Spent way too much money and landed on JBN chocolate. Not overly sweet and I mix it with unsweetened almond milk

How exciting we should jee in touch!
This diet is getting harder and harder the first couple of days I was great, but as time went on and I cook for the kiddos it’s tempting lol how are you
It is so hard cooking for the family and then sitting down to a cup of broth lol. I’m just so hungry all the time and have like no energy. It’s like torture. Where are you located? Do you have to drink all liquid or do you get a meal too?
-
I’m new here and I just got my surgery date! I start my liquid diet tomorrow. I’m excited and nervous, it’s been a long year in the making. Any February surgery buddies out there?
I’m Feb 6th too. This liquid diet is killing me!! How are you hanging in there?
-
I went for a weigh in on the 18th. They were disappointed I didn’t lose any weight and I actually gained 4 lbs since my last weigh in in September. I’ve been avoiding carbs etc and lost a few pounds but my next weigh in before I start liquid diet for 2 weeks is Thursday. I’m so afraid they are going to say they have to push my surgery back because I didn’t lose enough.
-
Did you lose any weight before you started pre-op diet?
-
Is your pre-op diet a liquid diet? Mine is high Protein and reduced calories. You will get through it! My surgery is Feb 16. When is yours?
My pre-op is Clear Liquids and 4 Protein Shakes a day and of course no caffeine. I was a huge Diet Coke addict and decided to go cold turkey like a week ago. Very very hard lol. My dad, brother and sister in law all had gastric bypass and made it through. None of them had much pain at all. So I don’t think you have to worry about that. My date is Feb 6.
-
I don’t know why but I’m not excited yet. I’m a big wimp, so worried about the post-op pain. Hope some of your excitement will rub off on me!
You are not alone. I’m not excited yet either lol. I’m not worried about the post op pain. I’m worried about the pre op diet and being able to conquer that and then about not eating for a long time after that. If I didn’t have to cook for my family I probably think it would be easier. When are you having your surgery?

My surgery is jan 25. I only have to do a two day pre op liquid diet. I wonder why yours is so long? Look at the bright side, you’ll get a head start on the weight loss.
This is true. Where are you getting your surgery?
-
I feel your pain ! ugh but hey we have to do it . when will you be starting your liquid diet? are u allowed to have some solids ?
Tomorrow I go for a weigh in and they said they will tell me if I have to start the liquid diet after that or if I can wait until my team meeting on January 25th. I’m hoping they say I can start liquids on the 25th. I don’t think I can have any type of solids. How about you?

Hello guys,
I will be getting my surgery date next week and I couldn't be happier. I will not lie I am extremely nervous/anxious. especially because I don't know how I will take the 14 days liquid diet. I would highly appreciate if you guys can give me tips and names of products you utilized throughout this liquid diet. Thank you very much.
I feel the exact same way. Im having bypass Feb 6. I’m most anxious about the pre op diet
-
So today is the day! A bit nervous, I’m not going to lie but really comfortable with my decision...
wish me luck everyone!
Good luck! You got this!

I’m waiting for my pre op appointment , I’m scheduled for Feb 6th Getting nervous but excited to syart this next chapter !
Same here!! I have the same date for bypass. Where are you getting it done? I’m so worried for my final weigh in next week bc I know I gained like 7 lbs since my previous weigh in in September.

What’s your surgery date?
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
How are you making out with the pre op Diet? My surgery is February 6
-
I was addicted to sparkling Water. As soon as I decided to get the surgery I quit cold turkey. It was hard at first but I’m doing okay. You will too. Take it one day at a time. I have eleven days until my surgery.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
I’m glad to hear someone else went thru the struggle and survived. Are you on the liquid diet now?
-
yea, I've been saving for a couple of years to pay for my surgery. it hurts to wipe out my bank account like that, but I know it'll be worth it.
It does indeed hurt to wipe out the bank account. Lol. It will indeed be worth it.
-
I had to pay mine out of pocket too. My insurance doesn’t cover anything to do with weight loss
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
I need to say that to myself more often. My last weigh in is next week. Then I begin the liquid diet. I’m a huge Diet Coke drinker. Today was my first day with out any soda. I thought it would be best to get off it now. Needless to say I was so miserable all day. No energy etc. I’m dreading the liquid diet and I pray I can get through it.
-
No, I'm not. I didn't even research surgery in Mexico until I had finished my requirements and had a date scheduled.
Having mine done in Allentown,Pa. My insurance doesn’t pay a dime. I’m using every cent of my savings on this. Ugh!!!!

That is great news! I’m nervous too. My date is February 6th. Our insurance doesn’t cover anything so I have to self pay. I keep asking myself if I’m worth it lol
