Nesh, this won't help you, but it might help someone else. If you have the choice to get the Emend nausea-prevention pill that you take before surgery...GET IT. It's expensive as all Hades....like two hundred bucks for one pill! But I took it and had absolutely zero nausea. My insurance covered it....but very seriously...it would have been worth paying for out of pocket.
I also got the behind the ear patch, and anti nausea pills to go home on.
Nausea and vomiting were my worst fear. I hate vomiting more than I can say.
Never had any nausea, never threw up.

This was a bigger lunch I had the other day. 6 weeks post op VSG I missed Breakfast, so that wasn't good. But this is a general lunch /dinner for me The food portions are 2oz beans 3 oz chicken breast 1 teaspoon humus 1 teaspoon picante sauce 1/4 of a pita pocket (I decided to not eat any more break, even 1/4) until the tail end of my weight loss).. Carbs can be an award, when I've lost the bulk of my weight It looks like a lot of food, but it's really not
