Bless you. I’m 2 days ahead of you and I understand how you’re feeling completely. This forum has been a godsend for me because says that the first couple of weeks is the hardest and it really does get better. I think we’re gonna do fine and we’ve just got to focus on the outcome rather than the rubbishy bits now 😊😊 -

Not too bad - still hurting and feel hugely swollen. Stomach bruising really bad - its basically a big purple mess. food wise - not hungry at all and taking maybe 3-4 teaspoons 3 times a day. A little stressed with the fragmin injections - but managing pretty well so far - thanks 🙏🏻

Thank you to everyone for your best wishes - 36 hours later and I’m feeling a lot better. First 12 hours were pretty bad and was in quite a lot of pain - it’s definitely subsiding hour by hour and I’m hoping that I’ll be back at home within 24 hours x happy to answer any questions and I promise I’ll be 💯 honest x

I'm 7.5lbs down on my pre-op diet - hoping to get to a stone before my surgery this time next week. Excited, nervous, happy and dreading 4 weeks of pureed foods. Still believe I've made a good decision for my health though.
