ladyyoki got a reaction from Seahawks Fan in Stall
I'm 2 months post op with 32 lbs loss. I've been stalled for a month now I've tried everything nothing I do is working. So I'm anxiously awaiting a break through any similar stories to give me hope.

So I posted last month about me having surgery January 11th and post op weight was more than my surgery day weight, started out at 262 lbs .Surgery day 246 lbs, 1 day post op 257 lbs didn't loss any weight for weeks but notice the inches so everyone told me not to weigh myself for a while. So I did just that and I'm happy to say 6 weeks after I'm 230lbs. Tell me your simular stories.

Was anyone given a sedative on the day of surgery to relax you. How did it make you feel?

Same as the above posters, surgery was easy. The pain was nothing - the stomach pain felt like I had done sit ups the day before and the incisions felt like a paper cut. The gas pain is annoying more then anything. I came off all pain killers with in a couple of hours as I didn’t want to be hooked up to the machines and just wanted to walk around. I was tired for about a week. Best wishes for your surgery.

I would echo the comments from megsic18. I had virtually no pain. The pre surg process was easy and they asked me a million questions. Then I got put out and the next thing I remember was waking up in recovery. They'll make sure you walk around the floor. You'll pee a lot because they hydrate you for surgery. You'll probably weigh more immediately after surgery from the Water weight. I wasn't expecting that. Overall it was pretty simple and so worth it. I'm one year out this week and haven't regretted a minute. Good luck.
