Anyone have big mans shorts and pants to donate?

The good news is, you're down to a weight where you won't have to use DXL any more.

Anyone have big mans shorts and pants to donate?

DXL is outrageously-priced and always has been. Old Navy has pants and shorts that go up to 48 (only online, though). Burlington Coat Factory should have khakis in that size. Maybe Sears/K-Mart?

    Experimenting before dr Allows😳

I ate a quarter of a doughnut about 10 days out and immediately threw it back up. That was the last experiment for me. I’m six months out and can eat anything in small amounts, hamburgers, fried chicken, pizza, you name it. It’ll get here soon enough, I promise. But you won’t get here at all if you cheat.

I gave mine away a long time ago, sorry. I would check Walmart, Burlington Coat Factory, and K&G.

    Any Chicago sleeve parients here?

Yes, I had mine done at Evanston Hospital.

    Vitamins

I've been on these for the past month, waiting to see what happens when I next have bloodwork done: https://store.bariatricpal.com/products/multivitamin-plus-patch-30-day-supply?nosto=other-nosto-1

    The basic need

You know, in rereading the OP, you're being kind of gross, considering how easily I can Google your surgeon. And have you considered how she might feel if she Googles herself, or has some sort of Google Alert, and this is what she sees? How many patients does she have named Matt/Matthew? Would it be that hard to narrow down which one of her patients is openly admitting to pleasuring himself to her?

I ate at Burger King yesterday

Kids' meals are always a good option, too. I can eat an entire kids' cheeseburger from Wendy's with no problem. Can't do more than a few fries, if any, though.
  9. Shouldn’t be a problem, I was taking small pills with sips of water when I was still in the hospital.

    Stitches or Dermabond

I had steri-strips. Last week I learned they even use those to close up C-section incisions.

    Non Scale Victories

Oh, haha, I don’t have that any more either! I used to have to put that AquaGlide stuff on my thighs before running.

    Life with CPAP

I’ve been treating sleep apnea for 6 years and can hardly sleep without the machine. I’ve had one sleep study post-surgery and they were able to turn the pressure down significantly, but I’m still required to use a CPAP. My sleep doctor said to come back if I’d lost another 10% of my body weight, and I’m about 15 pounds from there.

    Loose skin

Talk to a personal trainer, they may be able to help. Really it just takes time, and genetics and age help with that.

    The basic need

Good advice...from a woman...in the Guys’ Room. Plus think of how awkward it would be at your follow-up visits if she said “no” (which she almost certainly will).

    Non Scale Victories

    I can do sit-ups now!

    Rings too loose?

I really wanted a titanium or tungsten carbide wedding band, but that meant I’d have to buy a new ring if my size changed (neither medal can be sized). I think I’m on my fourth or fifth wedding band now (I don’t pay more than $20 for any of them). In total I’m down about 4.5 ring sizes.

  18. I’m six months out and I can do a prolonged sip, where water just trickles steadily down my throat, with no pain. Even if it hurts when I drink too much water too quickly, it’s temporary.

    Fried Chicken

Oh, waffles...waffles would not go well for me post-surgery.
  20. I highly recommend it, I did study abroad in England for three months and I could’ve easily done three years there. I’m six months out and can drink beer as well as I could prior to surgery (no chugging or funneling or shotgunning, though). Two things to consider: Assuming you’re staying in a residence hall with a dining hall, the food is likely to be high carb; and the dining hall staff may be completely unfamiliar with the concept of someone not being able to eat high-carb foods.

    Wrinkled bag stomach

Mine looks a little worse every time I look in the mirror. Also, last weekend I tried on a pair of jeans that fit just fine at the waist when I was standing, but as soon as I sat down, I had two hideous-looking pouches above and below my pants! I'll be curious to see where I'm at come December 2019.

Guys: What do you do to relieve stress

You think it's bad now, wait till everything has been submitted and you're waiting for the insurance company to make a decision! Fortunately I submitted all of my paperwork about a week before I went on vacation for two weeks, and by the time I got back, everything had been approved. So I highly recommend finding something to do during that period. Maybe build a ship in a bottle?

Where did this room come from?

I've been wondering the same thing.

Where did this room come from?

Considering how infrequently men seem to post in the Gals Room and how frequently women show up here to add their two cents, I'd say they just don't care.
