  1. Tomorrow 1:00 28th Thursday the day! . I am starting to rethink..... Today was just, Water, broth, Isopur.Has anyone used Isopur as a clear liquid the day before surgery?
Another question.. I can’t stop sneezing. I am afraid this might burst my stitches :/. Yikes.. I hope I can take liquid Benadryl. I don’t want to sneeze. I am going rouge tomorrow. Getting dropped off at 11.. do you need anyone with you before you go into surgery?
My gut instincts say this is right. I just feel a little nervous, have anxiety.
well if any of my fellow sleevers have any advice love to hear your comments.
Hope you are all doing well. Thank God for this forum. It’s lonely out here.
Best Wishess to all for a Happy Healthy New Years..... forever. 🥂🍾To our new life! cheers

Hi, congratulations on your surgery. Feeling nervous is normal, I was scared out of my mind..lol...my husband went with me, but after I was in my room I sent him home. I do advice having a support person or persons. Don't go alone would be my advice. You will be groggy after surgery and you won't remember anything the doctor tells you. You'll be OK, good luck and we'll be here when you get back.

  2. I completely understand it's hard for me to go slow. I was actually a slow eater before the surgery but now I feel like I have to go super slow and I also get full quickly. I think little by little we will get a hang of it.

Girl, I hope so..lol...it's been life changing for sure I didn't realize how much food actually played a role in my life and now I feel like I lost my go to comfort.feels strange. I'm a bundle of different emotions not sure what I'm feeling. But I don't regret it.

  3. Hey sleeve twin haha! Just take it slow I would and still have a bit of pain if I eat to fast. Honestly sometimes I forget I even had the surgery because thank God I have not had any problems.

Thanks, lucky you. I do try to eat slow, which is a little hard for me, it doesn't take much to make me full now. Glad you're doing well.

  4. I have a great team, surgeon, and dietician that work together and they have been awesome. I was given 2 folders with all the information I needed, it's my Bible, and I go to it daily. In my opinion, I knew this was a process, and it's major surgery and a life changing decision. We cannot expect for it to be a magic wand. It took years to put on the extra pounds, I know this will take work and this surgery is just a jump start. I will take it easy on my recovery, enjoy my quiet times, reflect and plan on my next step to go back to the gym. I wish you all a speedy recovery and best of luck with your future self, which will be a much smaller version, but a much more incredible version.

  5. Thank you!! Appreciate your comments. How are you doing?

I'm feeling much better, I'm trying not to be hard on myself, it took a lot of years to put this extra weight on, I can't expect it to all be gone overnight. I follow my doctor's orders to the letter, he gave me good meds to deal with all the issues like nausea and pain. It does get better, take it easy and be good to yourself, rest and sleep as much as you can.
