  1. I can't comment on the gastritis, but the hernia is no big deal. Most overweight people have them, and it's an easy fix for the surgeon. A few stitches and it only adds a few minutes.

Ty the hernia is so small the doctor said he would debate whether or not to fix once he's inside he'll determine I'm more concern about the gastritis cuz most VSG patients have complained about that post surgery and I'm guessing if I already have it! It would get worse he gave me nexium but I don't want to continue to take pills the rest of my life

  2. First of congrats on your upcoming surgery my tip to you is stick to your three Protein Shakes they will keep you full you can have super free Jello and Water is the trick. I've just started my liquid diet and the hardest days are the first three if you can get threw then it gets better my Protein Meal Replacement really save me they keep me full I'm scheduled for surgery December 13 today is my four day on the diet and I've noticed my hunger is more controlled and less. Hang in there it's only two weeks and once the stomach heals you will be able to eat again with moderation and consideration don't sabotage yourself keep a well balanced diet good luck
