  1. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis on Friday, I’ll be two months two post op on the the 23rd they have placed me on steroids for a another 2 days and I’ve been trying to control the increased apitite, I didn’t lose I.T tooo bad today just been munching on the same quesadilla all day[emoji30][emoji30][emoji30][emoji30][emoji30][emoji30][emoji30][emoji30] but tommorow I’m just gonna eat fruit no better how bad the cravings

  2. My nutritionist says plan to eat every 3-4 hours. So I alternate- soft moist Protein, 3 hours later protein supplement, 3 hours later soft moist protein. Breaks up my meals and keeps me going. Are you keeping track of what and how much you are eating?

Yess because I’m hungry so much I’m scared to eat an actual meal so I just stick to the Greek yogurts And I may eat a piece of fish or chicken but that’s honestly it.

  3. I’ve gone down a whole pant size since my surgery 10/23 haven’t been weighing myself cause I’m scared it will get to my head so I’m fine with that,

But I am ALWAYSSSSS HUNGRY, I drink Water or will eat a yogurt. If I do eat a small meal it lasts for about 3 hours before I’m hungry again, how normal is this, and does anyone have any meal ideas that last or is this just because I’m still in early healing stages?

  4. 102316..Where are you in your journey? It's hard to give advice when we don't know where you're at. Your profile says you are pre-op, but it sounds like you may be post -op now. If you are post op you should have instructions from your surgeon on your diet progression over the weeks post op.

I’m 3 weeks post, I’m gonna change that

  5. Feeling much better, been eating baked chicken or yogurt and Water. I’m gonna say it’s normal to have one of those days when u wanna cheat, This is new to me but I’ll make it through. I feel like I’m getting head hunger a lot so I usually just drink water or finish my work. Is it normal to no feel restriction tho, I usually stop myself so I don’t feel uncomfortable.

  6. STOP!
Okay, I said something. Really, most of us tend to push boundaries or maybe try new things before we probably should. It doesn't help knowing that everybody's plan is different. Although I followed my plan to a tee, it bothered me that others could eat things that I had to wait weeks to eat. I stuck to it though, because I didn't want something like a staple line leak to be something that I caused on my own.
If you are cheating, you need to remember why you started this journey. Instead of beating yourself down, learn from it, and implement a strategy to help yourself succeed. The examples that have been listed already are a good start. Make sure that you are planning in advance. That is very important. There is nothing worse than getting to work only to discover that you have nothing healthy to eat. When you see those donuts in the staff lounge, you will be super tempted to have one.
Plan your meals and Snacks in advance. Take them with you to work or to an event if you will be away for a long time. Keep the meals and snacks coming every 2-3 hours so that you don't get hungry.
Use today as a restart. You can do it.

Thanks it was one of those bad nights for me, I had Water and yogurt this morning, I plan on going to the store and get more and apple sauce, I feel I am back on track today, prayed about it and I feel much better today.
