so sorry for your issues, I am three weeks out and am having a hard meeting the goals, Protein, Water, etc....and am due back to work soon... Yikes....keep going strong, talk to the doctor........you will get thru this, I promise

I received soap for my procedure on Tuesday, but was also instructed to use something like Dial, antibacterial soap for 3 days leading up to surgery. But you will be prepped in the OR anyway. Also received mouthwash to use too. If you are concerned, use a good antibacterial soap leading up to surgery, I think that is what I would do Good Luck!

Hi, I am new to this site. My surgery is on November 21 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Jeffrey Genaw. My top weight was 285, I have been taking medication for over a year to lose weight. I down to 230 now! Currently doing the week long Protein liquid diet. Not easy!!
