@BabyFat23 I am having the same issue. I use to drink a case of Water within three weeks before my surgery but now I can't get anything down I don't care for water or anything else to drink at this point. I am pushing it down but it wants to come back up. I also have another issue I am having so much pain in my chest it is horrible I contacted the doctor today and they told me to come to the ER. I didn't go and I decided to wait until tomorrow to see how things go and if it's not better I will be at the ER.

To stick with my diet...most people I have talked with stated that they ate more right before they had surgery. I cheated for one day because of my daughter's birthday party but, I got back on track after. @UndercoverDiet

I hear ya [mention=329765]TINK09[/mention] I dropped 80 lbs before surgery. Sooo much more to go. I knew doing this would keep me on the loser's bench instead of the usual gain it all back when I stop losing weight.
You're right different doctors different rules. If you're not comfortable, tell them.

@BabyFat23 I am on soft food now I think its too early but my nurse called and said to start @LylaLovesCoffee had her surgery on the 8th and she is still on clear

@LylaLovesCoffee so you are not far from me I wonder why my doctor put me on soft foods oh well I guess different doctor different rules...honey I lost 60 pounds before my surgery and was at a complete standstill had to do something.

Honey I am still sore have a lot of nausea and scared as heck to eat the soft food my nurse wants me to eat other than that I will do good if these people quit asking me to taste food @BabyFat23

I'm still on full liquids until the 23rd. So I'm still eating Jello, Soup, popsicles, Protein drinks, yogurt, and of course Water.

Thanks everyone so helpful? I also want to ask a question about the foods that you guys have eaten after your surgery. I had my surgery Nov6 so my nurse stated I can eat soft foods what do you guys suggest?

I always made my own Protein Shake by using the synths-6 and adding skin milk, walnuts, and strawberries or whatever fruit you desire
