My surgeon said I could have M.O.M. It fixes my issue.. I have Constipation as well. Doc said it's normal

You will need to talk to your surgeon. Purpose of pre-op diet is to shrink your liver.

Start 2 weeks prior to surgery date with 1 light meal a day. Then 2 days before surgery is Clear Liquids only

I've dealt with an abusive spouse before... He's my EX now. An EXample of what to never be around again.
Only advice I can give as I don't know you or your wife, is to talk to someone close to you, so maybe they can talk to her as well. Focus on getting better, not just for you but for your children as well. Get your strength back and then decide if the relationship is healthy and if not, how to correct it. Good luck. God bless

Gastric bypass Dec 4th.
Left sided pain is worse than right side. Left side is swollen as well. Each incision has Staples, so a total of 22.
One thing that's got me wondering is, why are my teeth tender when taking my Tylenol 3 elixir, calcium citrate and liquid B12? Drinking fluids doesn't bother me. Anyone else with thus strange symptom?

My surgeon said nothing but a slow walking pace for 6 weeks post op,then after the 6 weeks and I can exercise.

My surgeon said the largest incision on the left abdominal area would be the sorest. Hope they sent you home with pain meds. Pain meds won't take it completely away, it'll just decrease it so you can relax.
I've had other abdominal surgeries before, and they were all painful even with meds.
If your pain is out of control, then call the surgeons office.
Rest, no lifting, no stretching, no twisting, walk slow pace. Best of luck.

My surgery is also December 5th. I cheated, but felt guilty. But today is a new day. I will do this, I can do this. Also nervous about post op.
It's ok. I cheated too. I felt guilty as well and stayed on track afterwards. My surgery is Monday December 4 th. I'm very strict now. Let's stay in touch.

I have 2 friends who went to Tijuana, they had no complaints. Amazing....if that's the case BridgetteG you need to say who the surgeon was or no one will take you seriously. Also, help them avoid the surgeon who did this too you.

My surgery as well is December 4th. I've finally adjusted to the pre-op stage. I'm also nervous about post-op diet.
