Today is the day—time to buy some “new” pants! I went through all my 16s...then 14s...now the 12s are falling off and I went to my closet and realized 😮 I don’t have any 10s! My budget tells me I can only go to goodwill or something right now but it’s exciting! Only 32lbs to goal now. We are rocking this November sleevers!

Wow awesome job! I feel good, but my progress is MUCH slower! Only down 45 lbs.

    still down 4 sizes though!

What is a typical day of meals for you, if you don’t mind my asking? 😊👍🏻

Hey all! I had my surgery November 15th. I started off at 254 before liquid pre op. To date I am 226. I am very happy I’m not dropping it too fast. I havent seen the 220’s in three years so I’m stoked. I tried to have a little smoked Gouda yesterday. No no no. My tummy did NOT like that. Nor does it like anything sweet. I am learning that I need to just stick to the plan. Lol. I am testing the waters I guess? And its just not happening. So my diet consists of cottage cheese, refried Beans, yogurt, and Protein Shakes. I am not having any issues getting my Water down. I am however very constipated. I mean BAD. Ive tried to add miralax to my Water, but its almost like I can tell its there and its hard to drink it. Any suggestions? Anywho just wanted to update everyone. Hope I’m not the only one......

Hi! I was sleeved the week after you! 22nd.

I was 270 before surgery and now 251. Totally excited! BP coming down drastically, walking seems easier, clothes fit way differently.

I haven’t had anything really ‘come back up’ after eating it, just some full sensations. I too am badly constipated. Doc gave me Rex for Docusate sodium, but not working great.

    All the best! 😊

Thank you! I haven't been going crazy like eating steak and seafood but man - the taste I have in my mouth. BLEH.

Thanks for the response! Hope you feel good too!

I have that taste too... don’t know what that is. My husband asked me ‘did u brush ur teeth’? 😂😂😂

It doesn’t make me nauseous though. Hang in there! We are getting healthy! 👍🏻

    Hello everyone,

I am 3 weeks post off and am feeling pretty good. The one problem I am having is a very bad taste in my mouth coupled with nausea. So eating has been very hard. Even looking at the pureed food list makes me want to gag. I kind of have been doing my own thing - per say - eating slow, chewing very well etc. But using my own foods. So far nothing has bothered me at all. I guess my question is - I am not ruining anything inside am I? I don't have any pain.

My surgeon said to do what feels ok. If it isn’t bothering you, then it should be fine! Nothing has bothered me yet, but I have not tried soft foods yet, only purée. Might try eggs today!

    Feel good! 😊

Am I the only one that doesn't seem to have a problem drinking as much as I want to? They told me after the surgery I wouldn't be able to drink much at a time but I'm not having a problem at all. I can drink as much and as often as I like without feeling full in the slightest. I'm really worried food won't make me feel full as well

Hi! I am 9 days out and have no trouble drinking or eating the mush! Lol! I think there are many who can’t get even Water in, though. Do you feel hungry, though? I have, slightly and for short times, felt a little hungry. I am worried about it as well but am willing to do what it takes to get healthy. We’ve come this far! Best wishes!!!

  10. Happy thanksgiving
Since August 2017 I have learned to listen to my body, well my tummy. Rice, oatmeal, bread r a no for me it doesn't sit good , either it comes up or it is very uncomfortable . I figured out what were sliders n that's all the foods that I need to stay away from. (Cookies, crackers n chips) So far I have been eating healthy moist foods.
Im also learning not fill my plate with my eyes cuz it will take 10,000 yrs to complete it. I am scared to stretch my stomach. So far I'm down 30 lbs. starting weight was 215 down to 188lbs. It feels so good to bend climb n do ur toes.
How's it going for everyone else .

Congrats! I am only a week out and happy to hear your story! I started ‘full liquids’ and Protein yesterday- all going well. Lost 18 lbs so far but I don’t expect that fast of a loss to continue.....
I can’t wait to bend and do my toes!!!
    Best wishes! [emoji4]

  11. Surgery went well. Initially felt like someone was sitting on my chest but feeling is improved. I wasted at 7 and 9:15 and seems to help with gas. Now in room and guess I will try to sleep. Pain isn’t terrible. How often should I be working. Kinda scared of drinking my Water. So just lots of smalll sips. No limitation on volume per hour?

Congrats! I was sleeved last week. Was told in the hospital to drink 2 -3 oz every 15 mins. Small sips
Hang in there! I am down 18 lbs in a week! Very noticeable to me! [emoji4]

So I've been on a 3 day stall now and can't figure it out. Well, it might have to do with not having a BM in a while. I took some milk of magnesia this morning I pray it works. It's been 2 weeks and I take a stool softener every day so I'm starting to freak out. Any advice?

Did they tell u to weigh yourself daily? It fluctuates so much, I would do once or twice a week. Don’t worry! Hang in there! Drink more water! 😊

Sleeved 11/07. On soft foods. On a stall with weight loss. But otherwise in good health. Still sore getting out of bed and can’t wait to go back driving as suffering from cabin fever!!! Don’t see the scale moving down but have noticed the weight loss in my clothes!

Hi! My doc said I could drive as long as I don’t take pain meds. And I was sleeved 11/22!

I wasnplanning I’m getting out this weekend for a bit.

Doc also said I could likely expect a stall in my loss around 4-6 weeks, sounds like where you are!

Keep up the good work! 😘
