  1. So glad all went well BB [emoji4] are you drinking straight Water? that was so heavy for me...I do much better with very diluted crystal light and getting that down...keep walking every hour or so walk around your house several times and the gas should get better soon!

I have been drinking Water, Unjury chicken broth, and I even tried a little Jello. I think I'll need to wait a couple more days for the jello though. I never threw up or had the dry heaves but I could tell my stomach was angry at that one

I'm this afternoon!! I'm 100% ready to get this done right now, but I will probably start to panic when they put the IV in. I hope yours goes well and I will see you on the other side!

Every doctor has their own protocol for pre-surgery. My surgery is the 5th - tomorrow. I had my own anxiety a few days ago but I know God has this. I think we wonder if we will ever get there cause it's been such a long journey for most of us like a rollcoaster trying to lose weight. I'm so read to get off all these meds and go for a hike and maybe even go camping again!!
Go join the Buddies Group for December under buddies and mentors. I think there's about 8 of us in there and we can all support each other. The ONE main thing that I never got with lap band surgery, I'm determined to be successful.

I'm scheduled for December 19th! I can't believe it's almost here. I have pre surgery and pre op this week where they'll share foods, Proteins etc info that I'll need. I'll be on the 2 week liquid diet.
I've taken tueaday-friday off from work. Monday is Christmas so I'll return on Tuesday. God willing with no complications. I'm wishing everyone a successful month and saying a prayer for your doctor's steady skilled hands and a speedy recovery.
I bought a size 10 skirt just to hang in the closet LOL.
I've had some people tell me if you get through day 3 of liquid diet, then you're good. Thoughts??

    Aran1030,

I'm taking from my surgery date Dec 11th until Jan 2nd off... but that's only because I was already planning to take the week of Christmas off anyways. I know I will likely not need all that time since I just work a desk job, but... I WANT IT!! I'll take any break from work I can get.

    saltykisses,

I've been so excited that for the last month I have been buying the best clothes from goodwill in all sizes down to 10. I'm afraid to go any lower than that.

  5. I do not have to follow a liquid diet or do any elimination drink prior to surgery. The other surgeon in the practice requires a laxative before but my surgeon does not think it is necessary and adds no benefit. The only requirement i have to follow is only Clear Liquids after 2pm the day before and no liquids at all after midnight. The office does recommend Miralax after surgery to ease Constipation after anesthesia if necessary, so I'll have it on hand. Hope that eases your mind a bit :)
