dreaming of rotisserie chicken
Such a good hubby! My husband made spaghetti at 2am two nights ago because he knows the torture I’m going through. The best part is that he is the worlds worst house keeper. He rinsed all the dishes and loaded them in the dishwasher. The only evidence was the half empty box of uncooked noodles sitting on the counter. God bless his soul! I have to feel bad for my hubby tho. I do all the cooking and shopping. I sent him to the store for some SF jello, and whatever he wanted to eat for the week. He emerged 1 hour later with a bag of... I hope he survives this process and he doesn’t resent me afterward. Im just kidding! He will love me more for it [emoji173]️

What were your sleep apnea results?
The lower the score the better is correct. At a score of 5, I'd highly doubt they would recommend a CPAP.

Naughty days?
I can’t agree with you more, as far as, my hopeful future relationship with food. Im day 2 on preop. My friends have asked me what I ate for my “last meal”. I ate something I enjoyed but, I didn’t overindulge. I told them that I’m not considering it my last meal. I hope that I will be able to enjoy the majority of things at some point in the future. The difference is that I won’t binge eat it.

I literally started clapping in my living room! Well said.

Popsicles?
My doctor said I could eat a whole box a day if I wanted to. (I don't of course). But it is a good way to get fluid in after surgery.

Nosy People
What state do you live in? I'm not sure if laws vary from state to state but, in IL... we have what's called FMLA. My HR person has told me that I don't even have to disclose the reason for my leave with my supervisor. She has stated that the only people that need to be informed is my doctor and HR. Our HR coordinator takes care of everything else, as in, informing my supervisor when I can return to work, ect. The reason I know so much, I had a bad experience with my direct manager and the same thing that happened to you. In fact, he would openly discuss my health issues with other colleagues and customers. I had to report him. At our company, this could be a terminable offense. I would call your HR immediately and explain the circumstances. Good luck, remember, you don't have to go through this!

Day 2 on Pre-Op Diet
The nausea is horrendous and the fog! I think I walked into my bedroom three different times before I remembered why I kept going in there. TGIF!
