This is very, very common. You should talk to your doctor about getting a stronger dose, or switching types of medication. What and how much are you taking now?

Thank you for your response. I am currently taking 1gm of Sucralfate 4 times a day. Dr. Asked me to break it down with Water and take 30 minutes before each meal.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Michelle I just converted my Lapband to a Sleeve on 10/10/2017. The acid reflux is keeping me up at night and even the medication that the doctor prescribed keeps me up at night. Any one else have this problem?

Since your doc's office is likely closed today, you could try asking your pharmacist if an antacid would be ok. Pepcid complete (over the counter) is what I take, but I have no way of knowing if it might be a bad idea in YOUR case.
You are the best! I will call my surgeon tomorrow and see if he can prescribe an antacid.
