  1. Doesn't matter what size. At one point in my life I looked like I just fell out of a fitness magazine and I still came across the guys you've experienced dating. The right one will come along I promise [emoji4] My hubby did and he has stayed with me through thick and sports illustrated thin. I couldn't have done this without him. Time off

My abdomen was very sore the first week. By the second week it started to feel better. You do get tired easily. I am 2.5 weeks post op and slowly getting back into running errands. I still struggle grocery shopping and driving all over Houston while chasing a 2 year old. By 4pm I'm exhausted and get straight into bed. My incision sites are still very tender but it's all part of the healing process and healing takes time. On the weekends I stay in bed and rest. Just make sure you listen to your body. It will tell you ok I've had enough and signal you to get straight into bed and rest. Have a healthy recovery! Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

    Poll: How many carbs?

I'm not. I said when I stop losing weight then I will add carbs to put my body through a change. Meaning a couple of months from now when my weight stalls Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

    Poll: How many carbs?

My meals are tuna fish, eggs, carb master yogurt, squash, zucchini and protein shakes. I put berries in my protein shakes. I was 208lbs pre-op now I'm 186lbs 2 weeks 1 day post op. I'm not really hungry like I was the first week but when I do eat I make sure to get half of my protein intake in before eating my carbs. I'm sure once my body stops losing weight I'll add more carbs to put it through a change then take it away again so I can start losing. Right now what I'm doing is working so no need to fix what ain't broken [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

    Poll: How many carbs?

60g of carbs??? Holy crap I barely manage to get in 20g of carbs a day. I do get in 50-60g of protein and 500/600 calories. Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

    3 month wait

The grass isn't always more green on the other side. Enjoy eating food normally while you can. I wasn't suppose to have my sleeve until the end of January but my insurance bumped it up to Oct.16 I wasn't prepared mentally for the operation but I'm glad it's done and over with. I feel like a baby who is learning to eat solids for the first time lol I was overweight yes, but I did take for granted what it was like to savor food and eat until I felt full. I'm glad I had the surgery and would do it again in a heartbeat, but don't see your 3 month wait as a bad thing. Take advantage of it and get yourself ready [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. I'm now 7 days post op. Still have 1 more day until I can try mushy foods. I can't imagine being able to eat soild foods right now. I envy you! I'm finally out of "what did I do to myself" stage and now just slowly getting better day by day. Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Yes I had sleeve on 10/16. I can say each day I wake up I feel better. I'm still on pain meds but I'm slowly needing less and less each day. I know some people say they aren't hungry after the sleeve but I'm starving! Like literally starving lol I can't wait to eat 1 egg on Tuesday. Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

    This May be crazy, but...

Try changing your workout. I have 2 words, sprints and stairs. Do sprints 2x a week and stairs 3x a week. Up your water intake and do a carb cycling rotation. When you do sprints make sure those are the days your eating carbs 35 -40 grams max. On days your doing stairs have no carbs high protein natural meats. Not shakes but actual food. Always stretch before and after your workouts. Have your post workout protein shake to get the body refueling again and push yourself when your doing sprints and stairs. Like really push yourself. I promise the weight will start falling off again. Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

    Surgery all done!#

I had my surgery on Monday 10/16/17. It hurts to cough, probably one of the worst pains I've felt. It hurts to laugh too. I have not sneezed (thank goodness) but I can imagine it's brutal too Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
