Soooooo... just got a call from intake.. and my surgery is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 19 at 1:30pm... I have to check in by 10:30 am.... I'm finishing up some last minute stuff at work.. Gonna come by on my way to the hospital and drop off a few gifts and then... it's on to meet my SLEEVINA (that's her name.. thought about sleevus, but it was too close to Cletus!! LOL) and plus Sleevina rhymes w/ Tina!!! Thank you all again for you encouragement and support.. It has meant the world to me.. I don't know how much I'll be frequenting the board this weekend.. but if I don't log on after this evening... I'LL SEE YOU ON THE LOSER'S BENCH... Hey December Diva Sleevers!!! 3 more days and I'm down another 4 pounds on the pre-op diet... I tried to cheat yesterday (some eggs)... UGH!!! I got so sick.. I'm a reformed pre-op diet cheater... How is everyone???

I was buying a new robe and slippers last night .. and this other NOSY customer was inquiring about why... I told her I was having surgery.. she looked me up and down and said.. it's not the special WL surgery is it.. I said YES, and gave her a look that said .. heifer, you next word maybe your LAST!! LOL.. She quickly turned away and completed her transaction... You are the only person who knows what it's like to be in your body.. Let me gossip, as you continue your journey toward a more vibrant life!! Congrats on your weight loss!!! (I won't be back at work until Feb. 1, so I know all my students and co-workers will know..) So!! LOL...

Well, unfortunately disagreements and people saying things either hastily or because they are "like" that is a part of life... I just either ignore or block the negative people... I'm sorry that this makes you feel like not coming back.. I would miss you.. seriously, I would!!!. The sleeve takes 85% of our stomachs and not our "interesting" personalities or idiosyncrasies... Hang in there and try to look past people, ask for clarity or just answer and move on... Hope you don't leave though...
