Today the scale read... 360.0!! I think it's broken.. for real... I don't know.. I went to the Vitamin shoppe last night.. and my purchase was 26.00!!... Something about these exact numbers!! LOL...

Hey December Diva Sleevers!!! 3 more days and I'm down another 4 pounds on the pre-op diet... I tried to cheat yesterday (some eggs)... UGH!!! I got so sick.. I'm a reformed pre-op diet cheater... How is everyone???

Have a great day at work my dear.. WHATEVER to the haters!!! People don't look down on drug addicts and alcoholics who go to rehab, or people who get botox and their ears pinned back.... I was buying a new robe and slippers last night .. and this other NOSY customer was inquiring about why... I told her I was having surgery.. she looked me up and down and said.. it's not the special WL surgery is it.. I said YES, and gave her a look that said .. heifer, you next word maybe your LAST!! LOL.. She quickly turned away and completed her transaction... You are the only person who knows what it's like to be in your body.. Let me gossip, as you continue your journey toward a more vibrant life!! Congrats on your weight loss!!! (I won't be back at work until Feb. 1, so I know all my students and co-workers will know..) So!! LOL...

Well, unfortunately disagreements and people saying things either hastily or because they are "like" that is a part of life... I just either ignore or block the negative people... I'm sorry that this makes you feel like not coming back.. I would miss you.. seriously, I would!!!. The sleeve takes 85% of our stomachs and not our "interesting" personalities or idiosyncrasies... Hang in there and try to look past people, ask for clarity or just answer and move on... Hope you don't leave though...

Praying for you.. I grew up w/ an alcoholic father... you know the rest!!.. Be strong and positive...

So, I spent 4 hours at the hospital getting Pul Fcn Test, Chest xray, LOTS of blood work and a venous doppler on my legs... Spoke w/ the nurse intake person about pre-op instructions and some soap that I have to shower w/ for 3 days... The people were great!! Spent most time talking than testing... So... barring some freaky blood work issue, I'm on for MONDAY!!!! I'm so hungry right now.. but I'm smiling knowing that it's almost over!!!! I love my surgeon, hospital and friends right now... They've been super supportive!

Nope.. but I have dreamt about being pregnant!! LOL... and that's not gonna happen!!!

Thanks!! Sandy, I don't know if you have a Trader Joe's near you.. but they have some delicious turkey meatballs!!! And several easy heat and eat items w/o all the junk!

I didn't get the Mirena for birth control... I needed the hormones... I'm counting down til I can get it back!

I'd have my vit/mineral levels checked as well... My vit D was extremely low.. I couldn't sleep for weeks.. started supplementing.. I was fine.. Stopped for my pre-op diet.. can't sleep!!!!

My surgeon had me remove mine 2 weeks before surgery...He said due to my weight, he didn't want to take any chances... He's extremely cautious and meticulous about EVERYTHING!!!!

In my pre-op classes, my doctor wants me to snack on fruits and veggies when I get regular food... I do realize our bodies are different and couple w/ my metabolic issues, that's probably the reason.. I would suggest seeing a nutritionist who is familiar w/ the sleeve and seeing what they suggest.. Perhaps you are deficit in some vits/minerals or something...
