I have a bottle of some strawberry daiquiri mixer but it has 56 carbs and 58 sugars for only a HALF of a cup! I couldn't believe it when I saw that. But my carb intake is nevermore than 30 a day so that's out of the question. Lol.

Are you supposed to count your Protein Shakes as your 64 oz/day of Water? Someone said I could but that doesn't really make sense BC its not a clear liquid.

I saw this recipe on a website. The crust in pizza is not good for you since it has a ton of carbs so I have been googling low carb ways to make a pizza. Ive found so many good ones.

The Protein Shakes you should use them as a Meal Replacement. It really helps with adding up youre Protein. I try to drink one a day and I usually drink it in the morning time. My Dr told me that if you HAVE to drink while you're eating just take a small sip but really try not to drink too much while eating. It actually stretches you're stomach and you're filling it with the Water instead of the food. They say to not eat until 30 minutes after you have drank water and then an hour after

That usually means u r eating too much or, not chewing it up enough, or it's not entering your stomach pouch correctly.

So I absolutely love Water. It has always been my favorite drink to drink. Before surgery I would drink like 6-8 water bottles a day. Now that I have had surgery, it is a lot harder to drink that much water BC my stomach won't really hold that much at a time, and sipping water all day seems that I can't get 64 oz in because it gets warm so fast, and sometimes I just need to taste something lol. Does anyone think that I can count Powerade zero as my intake for some water? Like maybe 15 oz or less a day.

I am 2 weeks and 2 says post op and the first week I was very irritable, had bad anxiety, got angry easy, sad, and regretted what I did. But then its like it all just stopped at once, about 6 days later. Now I feel a lot better and am super excited to keep losing weight. I have already lost 28 pounds in just 16 days, so that helps a lot. Plus once I signed up for this website it helped a lot to be able to talk with people who were going through the same thing I was. Good luck!!!

Buffalo chicken Dip
Ingredients
2 (10 ounce) cans chicken breasts
1/2 packages (4 ounce) fat free cream cheese, softened-
1/4 cup frank's redhot original cayenne pepper sauce
1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/8 (2 Tbsp) cup fat free ranch dressing
1/8 (2 Tbsp) cup fat-free Greek yogurt OR Fat Free Sour CreamDirections
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place cream cheese in a medium bowl and stir until smooth. Mix in Frank's RedHot, mozzarella cheese, ranch dressing, and yogurt. Stir in chicken until thoroughly combined. Spoon mixture evenly into a deep 8-inch by 8-inch baking dish.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, or until mixture is heated through. Stir well and enjoy! To make this dish FAST, skip the oven altogether. Prepare dip according to the directions, but in a microwave-safe dish. Then microwave uncovered on high for 5 minutes (stopping and stirring halfway through cooking), or until hot.
Each 1/4 cup serving has 9 Protein, 3 carbs, 2 fat, and it tastes amazing (I normally don't believe people when they say "it's healthy, but it's just as good as....." but this really is).
Also, if you're a Pasta fanatic like me, I take about 1/3 - 1/2 pound of 99% fat free turkey and brown it in a skillet. Put in a blender with maybe a cup of Marinara sauce. You can also mix in some non-fat ricotta cheese if you like. Heat in the skillet (it's basically a meat spaghetti sauce without the pasta). I heat it up and put Parmesan cheese on top when I eat it. Hope this helps!
When does the pureed stage start? I'm only asking the question again BC the last person had a lap band and that's not what I had don't. I had the gastric sleeve done.

I am 10 days post op and I am always hungry. The first 4 days I didn't even think about food, and now I'm always hungry. I drink my Water and my Protein Shakes too. Is there ANYTHING I can eat at this stage that won't hurt me, that is not Soup, pudding, Jell-O, and yogurt. and I hate cottage cheese so there's no way I'm eating that. Oh and I had the gastric sleeve not lap band.

How long after surgery do u have to keep waiting an hour to drink after eating? It really sucks having to do this because I love to drink Water constantly.
