I had surgery on 2/9 and I had a dent. It worried me when I first saw it. But it has gone away already.

After surgery the Premier Protein shakes have been a bit heavy and my stomach doesn't sit well with all the dairy. Well I found these GNC Total Lean Shakes so far I've tried shamrock cream and banana and they are amazing. The shamrock one seriously tastes like a shamrock shake. I love them!!

How many people are now running since wls? I currently am walking but really would like to work up to running. Programs are plans you suggest that will take you from walking to running. I would like to do a 5k at some point. Any tips at all would be appreciated.

So today I had my first NSV today! I was getting ready to go to the Drs and I just randomly grabbed some jeans. They were not my normal size they were a size down from that and they fit perfect even with a bit of room! I was so excited. So the bad was that I was putting on said jeans yo be tested for the flu. And of course I have the flu and am starting tamilu .one. day. all. The. Things. Will. go.right.
I seriously want to hit the gym now. But I feel like I've been hit with a truck full of bricks. I want normalcy.lol

I know of other clinics that don't require anything but clear the night before. Unfortunately though my clinic did a ten day liquid diet.

I am a big fan of the Tomato bisque. I cannot even think about chicken broth anymore without gagging!

If you go on Pinterest you can find a recipe and make them yourself.

Wahooo girl! I hope to be there right with you on the full liquid phase by Wednesday (2.21.18).
I can have Protein Drinks, strained cream and regular Soups, Clear Liquids, Greek yogurt thinned down with Fairlife fat free milk. Nothing that has Fiber in it--so green smoothies are out.
I figure I will get some jars/cans of Tomato bisque, poblano Soup, etc and strain them and add Protein Powder to them. Also, I can have V-8 which also makes a tasty "soup" with Protein and spices, heated up to warm it. I think I remember I can have Jello sf pudding as well as the Jello, popsicles, sf fudgesicles. I'm gonna try mixing Premier Protein with SF pudding or unflavored jello and see if I can churn it into ice cream. LOL. Will see.
I'm with the others. Ricotta Bake won't come until puree phase for me, which will be in about 3 weeks.
That's great you are almost there! I was on clears for a week and now am on full liquids for two weeks. I had Tomato bisque last night. This morning I had chocolate malt o meal. I'll admit when thinking about it I didn't think it would do anything for me. But after 1 tbsp I am Full! And that fullness is staying with me much longer than I thought it would. My kids are laughing at me with my baby spoons and baby bowls!

So I had surgery on 2/9 was on clears that week. Today I got moved to full liquid. Did any of you get creative and do any recipes. And at what stage can we do the ricotta bake? I have noticed my clinic prolongs our stages much longer than other clinics. Oh and last question which app is better for tracking myfitnesspal or baritastic?

I had my surgery on 2/9. Not in to much pain. I'm off the pain killers and just doing Tylenol. I am so happy I made the choice to have this surgery. I am still on clears until Friday. I can't wait to progress in my diet!!

My doc pushes dairy. It drives me crazy. They tell me to drink milk when I am feeling hungry on the pre-op. Pfft my stomach does not agree with any dairy.
Each dr is different I would check with yours.

strawberry and banana sounds amazing!! No Hyvee here. I wonder if Walmart has a store brand of popsicles with different flavors. Shall investigate.
I looked at walmart and couldn't find any. I get my Bone Broth from walmart though. So I'm running all around town for popsicles and broth. Lol

Anyone else get sick on the pre op liquid diet? I have been on the liquid diet since weds. Then this morning I had half a Protein Drink and some broth. I threw up all the broth. Is this normal? I don't feel sick like a stomach bug or anything. I feel like my body is just pissed at me for not eating..

The silverware looks good. I actually just bought toddler silverware and bowls. I also use the tea plates rather than a normal sized plate. It's all worked well for me after surgery.
