  1. Down another 2.2 pounds on this weigh in Wednesday man it has been a rough week though, feeling down on myself, the hair loss OMG the hair loss its everywhere I feel like I am half german shepard with the amounts that I am loosing. I have to admit that old feeling of oh you are feeling down eat something did not show up this week, something I have been working hard to recognize, accept, and then move on with; and this is a positive for the week. I hope all of you are working hard on healing physically and mentally !!!
  2. Weigh in Wednesday I think there is only a few people who stay active on this thread :O( but I have to share because it helps me to stay motivated. I am down another 3.6 pounds it is an amazing feeling though this week has been hard compared to others I have just felt so weak, like body weak, and my hair has really started to fall out I get my protein I take the biotin and everything else and I know it is apart of the surgery process but it is still unnerving. I went to the Dr last week and they changed my goal weight to 180 and once I hit that we will readjust as needed maybe I should update my tracker I don't know I feel like I am in a little bit of limbo land right now. I hope all of you are feeling healthy and taking care of your amazing selves
  3. Also the dizziness can be a blood pressure issue always better just to put in a call to your Dr.
  4. Isopure protein water is great but the flavors can be how should i say it awful but they are easier to drink than the thick shakes also I would put mine back in the fridge it helped to alternate between a few ounces of water and a few ounces of shakes
  5. Comfy pants are a must and I personally brought yoga socks the ones they give you at the hospital are too thin and don't keep you feet warm and I brought my own pillow that was priceless really
  6. ok 3 month check and I was told that I can add fiber powder into my drinks as long as they are sugar free. Wooohoooo may the movements come swift and regularly
  7. ok just got back from my 3 month check and they told me I can take any one a day as long as i also add a b complex to it. This works out fine for me anything over the awful bariatric ones.
  8. 3 month check up was today wooohooo Doctor has set my preliminary goal at 185 when I hit that we will re-evaluate where I am at physically as well as health wise. So I think for right now I will leave my tracker goal at the 160 mark and just keep the 185 mark in my head.
  9. are you exercising?? This can create mini stalls that are healthy as you loose fat but build muscle it may appear like you are not moving the scale down but you are moving your jeans down
  10. I am 100% on board with you I have a follow up today and that is on my list of stuff to go over. Right now I am taking Vitamints yes they are a chewable that taste like peppermint I know its not getting me all I need but its better than nothing. I am also taking a sublingual B12, biotin, and viactiv chews for vitamin D and calcium
  11. Another glorious weigh in Wednesday down another 3 pounds this is the most incredible experience. I have to buy a new weigh in outfit this one is just too big now and it started off tight wooohooooo
  12. October 9th surgery and my face is the same way I am doing moisturizing masks and bought myself a new over night lotion from Juice. It is helping out a lot and of course getting my fluids in sigh and yes I am running behind on those for today like always
  13. Supplements can help but I can not stress enough how helpful therapy is during this transition. They can walk with you through the highs and lows and help you make sense of some of the upcoming changes we will all be going through.
  14. Weigh in Wednesdays down another 1.2 pounds wooohooo that means I am 9 pounds away from being at the half way point. At least that is what I think my doctor never talked to me about a goal weight I have an appointment this month I think this is a great time to ask him what I am working towards.
  15. I am not as far out as you but I feel your struggle my bowels are a mess, plus I get next to zero fiber because I am on all protein. I find that on the second full day of not going if I take a docolax the movement is a bit smoother and although there might still be some pain it is much better. If I hit a 4th day with no go I take 2 docolax and that gets everything out. It is not a perfect system but for right now it is what I have.
  16. my face and lower back seemed to go the quickest I am 67 pounds and finally moving down pant sizes
  17. Enchiladas freeze amazingly well ohhh and these bad boys are perfect they can go from the freezer to the over wooooo https://www.amazon.com/Glad-Food-Storage-Containers-Contatiners/dp/B00SHJAWT0/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1515004109&sr=8-2&keywords=freezer+to+oven+glad
  18. I try really hard to fit my food into my hunger schedule so in the AM think 6-7 I am not hungry so I drink a shake and take my meds by about 9 I am hungry so that is when I eat my breakfast usually an egg then around 12 I start getting hungry so I have a snack then I don't get hungry again until 4 so I eat another snack and have dinner around 8 I know I know the times are funky but this is my life schedule with 3 kids in sports, and a job this is what works for me take a deep breath and find the times that work for you
  19. Whooo down another nearly 3 pounds weigh in Wednesdays are my favorite!!!!
  20. my guess and the drs guess is the pills i have checked the website to see if they have sugar but it doesn't say but it also doesn't say that they are good for diabetics I am betting it was the coating the pills had a minty flavor to them
  21. I am only allowed to eat meat or as my doctor put it things with faces. I wont get to add carbs into my diet until I am at 75% of my weight loss. I have not had pain or dumping issues with any of the meats I have eaten and this particular cut is a staple in my diet right now I mean if all i can eat is 1.5oz of meat I might as well have a good cut that isn't tough and has a good flavor. The only new thing that was added was the stupid pills
  22. The steak is something that I eat all the time a small filet will feed me for breakfast lunch and dinner and sometimes breakfast the next day too
  23. YYYYAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSS
  24. I had my revision done Oct 9th it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!! I had really bad left side pain after I got out of the hospital it would only hit at night and walking did not help be aware that its possible for this kind of pain and have your pain meds on hand. This is a great accomplishment and cant wait to see you on the losers bench
  25. Down another 6.4 pounds no doubt thanks to a dumping incident but hey I guess I will take it
