Post surgery skin woes

I had RNY on October 30 of this past year. I’ve shed a few pounds and am delighted with how things are going...however, my skin is in chaos. In the last week it has gotten so dry that I don’t know how to maintain it. Especially on my face. My whole face is peeling and tender. My skin feels dry and bumpy. Am I dehydrated? Anyone experience similar issues so soon after surgery?

Drink, drink, drink! But also talk to your doctor or nutritionist about checking your labs. I've had some strange problems that ended up being because of a vitamin deficiency...even though I was taking all of the vitamins they recommended I still wasn't high enough in a few places.

October 9th surgery and my face is the same way I am doing moisturizing masks and bought myself a new over night lotion from Juice. It is helping out a lot and of course getting my fluids in sigh and yes I am running behind on those for today like always
