1 ounce at a time
Yes this is exactly what I am doing I tried a bottle of water yesterday as I had a huge amount of errands to run and I was so worried that I was drinking too much or too little just all consumed by water intake
-
Best tasting protein drink?
Did you try the unflavored, how was it? I ordered it to mix into clear drinks

1 ounce at a time
How long did everyone use their little one ounce cups for, how did you do the transition to "big girl cups" and how did you handle going out like shopping where maybe its harder to get your water. Right now I am supposed to be drinking 1 ounce every 10 minutes does that change when I go on to the mushy foods part of the diet??

The dreaded protein
Both had the dreaded milk products warning I've never been lactose intolerant before so it's all new to me
-
The dreaded protein
The premiere shakes tore me up so did the isopure clear they both made me very sick and a lot of pain because of the gas/bloat so early out from surgery so right now I am very careful it has to have less than 1%

The dreaded protein
I actually got a couple of the isopure waters lactose free milk free whatever cuz I can't have that now either I'll admit they're not good I had to mix two packets of Crystal Light into the bottle but at least it's not making me gag and when you work it out it's two grams of protein per 1-ounce shot which is helpful to think of instead of oh my God I have to finish the entire gigantic bottle I'm going to look at the other ones you suggested though

The dreaded protein
so we all complain about the protein but I am having an interesting issue so I am RNY Gastric Bypass my Dr. Requires Liquids for 2 weeks, post surgery which is right where I am at. I found out I am lactose intolerant woohoo for that but here is my bigger issue I gag with the protein shakes I take them in a 1oz shot if you will and I have to sip on it you guys no the drill and then I have to wait about 12 mins before I can have another. But I gag with every sip I have tried to water them down, under water them to get over with faster, rotated with "shots of water" how do you guys tolerate them help.

Vitamins
My doctor has been very specific I can not start vitamins until after the 2 week check up. I did immediately start a probiotic, Prilosec, and potassium

They said it was a possibility that they would take it so at least I was aware that it was a chance. Thank you for the prayers I really appreciate them I want to be the ideal student and when I go to the doctor have my diary and have it show that I hit all my numbers every single day cuz that's the personality I am and these two days I have maybe hit half the mark.

Help its GAS
So pre surgery and until yesterday (5 days post) I have been using muscle good labs Isolate mixed with cashew milk its great protein but its a mix and a bit flat on the flavor. My Doctors gives suggested recipes for shakes but all they use is Premier from cost co so I say what the heck I am in need of a switch a roo and hubby picks up a case of every flavor ( he really is the best) So yesterday I make the recipe as written and they say to blend it which causes all kinds of foam and I drank it any way I know I know dumb idea really bad gas felt awful ended up missing all my numbers yesterday. I wake up feeling great this morning and I grab another premier this time straight from the bottle and bam by 2pm I sick with gas so my hypothesis is that nothing else has changed it must be the premier has anyone else had this issue please what did you do and how did you lessen the gas I have taken a gas x and I am working on peppermint tea now but this is going to throw my day off again

Okay I'm back home surgery went pretty well they ended up taking my gallbladder because I found a small polyp in it. Painless pretty intense the first day at the surgery and then it hit its peak at 3 a.m. I guess technically the morning after the surgery it was really bad. I had severe shortness of breath and my heart was all over the place so they ended up ordering at CAT scan of my chest and ultrasounds of my legs to look for blood clots and then an upper GI to make sure everything was in order. I'm glad to say that all of those tests came back normal and my shortness of breath is still here but obviously getting much better. They kept me in hospital for 2 days technically three because I wasn't released until 8 last night. The nurses were phenomenal at my hospital I felt very good and taking care of I walked a grand total of 50 laps around the nurses station and every time I went at least one nurse and look at how good your doing. When they release me my heart was still a little bit all over the place but the doctor felt confident that I'd be okay going home. So here I am I got up this morning and did walk the length of my house 8 times I had my first breakfast which was super runny yogurt took my Prilosec and crushed at my potassium and hid it in the yogurt. I also got to take the bandages off today and take a nice warm shower that I'm very tired after all the activity and will be in bed for the next hour to hour and a half. How did everybody else do you had surgery on the 9th 10th or 11th
