  1. Yes the amount that I had was just a little tiny cup.
  2. Oh it tasted so good. It was just a little treat to myself. I am going to look for sugar free ice cream when I do my shopping on Tuesday. The ice cream did not disrupt or upset my stomach at all. It felt so good going down. I want to try eating ice cream once a week. Just a little bit. Any thoughts on ice cream?
  3. I dont have a car and dont drive. I take the bus.
  4. My surgery has really changed my diet. I notice that I am attracted to vegetables, black beans, salads, lentils, split pease, barley, black eyed peas, and pinto beans. I have lost my taste for eggs.
  5. According to my Dr I can now eat salads. I love to take a variety of raw vegitables and chop them up and put them in a bowel with Balsomic dressing. I really enjoy broccoli and cauliflower.
  6. I was afraid of having my endoscopy also. I went to the hospital and they put an IV in my arm and the next thing I knew I was waking up and it was over. You have nothing to worry about.
  7. I just find it so terrible that I can never again drink carbonated drinks. What is the reason behind it?
  8. I am not talking about getting hammered. I just want a half glass of wine.
  9. Oh I would drink the wine very very slowly. Their steaks are to die for.
  10. I am 7 weeks post op and wanted to go to my favorite restaurant and have a steak with a half glass of Pinot wine. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
  11. there are bars out there that have 30 grams of protein.
  12. I was sleeved May 9 and have only lost 18 pounds. I joined a gym and worked out yesterday hoping that will increase my weight losss. Here I had 85% of my stomach removed and have only lost 18 pounds. What a waste!.
  13. i collect and read them. Were you raised a christian, I was but thankfully i gave that up.
  14. do you like tarot cards?
  15. wow you have lost alot of weight I have only lost 17 pounds in 7 weeks post op.
  16. I find tomatoe soup to be very satisfying.
  17. Baked lamb chops take my hunger away also.
  18. The foods that I find most satisfying are lentils, black beans, split peas, barley. I prepare these in the crock pot. They are healthy and delicious. Pinto beans with a little cheese on top are also good. These foods break the hunger for me. Also I love frozen vegetables that I boil in water and then sprinkle some salt on with a little butter. Green cabbage goes well with the lentils too. Hope this helps.
  19. My stomach feels empty alot of the time when I am head hungry. To be honest with you the head hunger can imitate stomach hunger. When I eat something because of head hunger I end up not eating or eating a minimal amount. I eat very little right now. I am content to see the pounds coming off. I would say that I am eating about 600 calories per day. I was drinking protein shakes but they are so sweet that they make me want to throw up. I used to love eggs but after the sleeve surgery I cant eat them.
  20. I am losing about 2 pounds a week. Food does not rule my life anymore. That is a huge plus. I joined a gym and will begin working out next week. I am currently in week 7 post op. I have noticed that foods that I used to enjoy eating before the surgery I now do not like. For instance, I used to love eggs and now I cant stand them. I had a slice of pizza today and I could only eat half of it. That is the beauty of the sleeve. Where in the past I would have ordered 3 or 4 slices of pizza I can only eat half a slice now. The sleeve acts as a guardian for me. I am so glad I had it done.
  21. I think gothic women are beautiful
