Oh I was ready to run till they gave me giggle juice lol.

7 holes, top one with tapes was my drain tube. Found I have an extra large liver, he almost didn’t do the surgery because of it. It wasnt because I didn’t follow my diet cause I did. To a t. He believes it’s still messed up from when I had sepsis.

I’m there at the hospital. My feet wanting to run, but heart wanting to stay.

I wouldn’t unless approved by your surgeon, a lot of herbs can cause bleeding.

I’ve never been a coffee drinker, my mom is and my ex is. I was a big pop drinker now a lot of decaf lemon tea. It’s working. Only a few more days and we have our surgery.

I don’t know how I’m going to make it the next few days and then to drive 45 mins to a hotel near the hospital I know I’m not going to be sleeping. I have to do a nasty colon cleanse.

Thought I would actually introduce myself finally. I’ve been here for a few months. I will be sleeved on Tuesday November 7th at 7:30 am. I’m muskegon Michigan. I’m 42 year old disabled single mom to one 12 year old. My starting stats are HW 385 in July. CW 346 11/03/17 SW Goal Weight 175 Drs goal 207. I just want happy and healthy. I quit smoking two years ago and that didn’t help my weight any at all.

My doctor said he has had people who never had gerd get it really bad after the sleeve. Then he has had people who have a quite a bit not have one lick of problems after the sleeve. As he says only time will tell and stay on treatment.

This is what I had to deal with tonight. My mom chomping away at a whopper with cheese as I ate Greek yogurt. It wasn’t that I wanted her sandwich my surgery is Tuesday I’m past the hungry hungry hippo stage. I’m at the I’ll vomit on your food stage cause it stinks. Made for an interesting ride home with the windows cranked open at 35 degrees out.

I’ve been in my pre op liquid diet now since October 24, but on the 23 instead of going out I actually made homemade chicken stir fry and for snack later in the evening I had a large salad and that was my last supper of sorts. Because it’s not that I won’t ever eat again because I will and so will you. We will just eat healthier and smaller portions.

I have that, what if it doesn’t work for me scenario running in my head too. My father told me for so many years that I’m a failure and will never amount to anything that I’ve actually believed it for so long. He’s been gone for almost 18 years I’m just starting to come out of my shell that yes I can do it, I’m not a failure. I will succeed and so you will.

It is, it’s craxy how our brains are programmed. I’m on another site and a lady is on her pre op diet and didn’t even think about it, grabbed her husbands left overs and ate them for breakfast before she even realized what she was doing she was all done.

Mine is 14 days of liquid diet, day before surgery clear liquids only and colon cleanse. I’m allowed shakes, yogurt, cream soups, jello pudding and as much calorie free or low calorie fluids as I want.

Im lucky my sister in law is cooking this year for my daughter and my mom, she’s making me broth and tea. I usually just stay home and cook for my mom and little girl.

I’ll be having broth for Thanksgiving this year, I’ll be 16 days out from gastric sleeve. Hopefully going to start my new year right.

I’m on day 9/14 I’ve lost 39 pounds and just grabbed a french fry. Ugh. I’ve been doing so well. I’m getting tired of people eating around me and I having to cook and smell it.

That’s good. I knew I snored from my allergies but didn’t realize I was quiting breathing 95 times per hour. Omg.

My doctors asks for a week, just because turning the trunk of your body maybe painful. Plus the pain medication. He told me seeings I live on pain Meds and use to them I may not have to wait a whole week. But I’m sure if I’m taking extras I won’t be driving.

I don’t have to do clear liquids till the day before. Right now I’m allowed yogurt and cream soups. But I also have to do a bowel prep, night before surgery.

I had a nurse like that, back in January of 2016 I had perforated my bowel and had sepsis in my belly, that woman acted like it was her Meds that she was loosing by giving them to me. I was to have a shot every hour and when she was on shift I was lucky I got one every 3 hours. It was very painful.

Mine only lasted a few days, the diarrhea on the other hand lasted longer and my poor bum is tore up from it. I just have a bit left to go. Surgery 11/07:

I know the temptations of other eating around you. Today my mom was eating and candy bar and saying yum yum and telling me how good it was. Well I’m not that nice of a daughter in the first place I stopped the car on the side of the road and told her to get out of shut up. She has done everything to undermind my diet. She is bound and determined for me to fail. My mom has done this my Hole life.

I was low carb before starting my liquid diet, don’t know how or what I’ll be at post op. Hope to still be below 50 net carbs a day.
