Won't happen. Your loss will gradually slow and you will wish it were easier!
I lost 17lbs first week. 50% of my excess by three months out. Took me a year to reach goal and the last pounds were quite slow. That's a very common pattern.
It's very easy to stop the loss when it's time, if that's necessary. You increase calories and if need be use calorie dense foods like nuts and fats. Heck you can make a Protein Shake with half and half! Lots of ways.
