  1. 18 hours left for me but I have to be there in about 17 hours
  2. I will be sure not to, lol. And I’d be freaked out either way with the shots. I wouldn’t need them if I didn’t have the implant birth control ?
  3. Oh wow wish you hadnt said the naked bit, now I have to think about that too...no I better not, ewww hahaha It’s one of those things you don’t think about until the last minute ??? I’m so sorry! I’m also not looking forward to coming home and starting 10 days of lovenox injections. I hate needles ???
  4. Glad it went okay. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
  5. Thank you! I got my reminder call about an hour ago. Pushed from 3:15pm to 2:30pm, I have to be there by 1pm! I’m super anxious but not nervous, just like I want to get it over with! Wishing speedy recoveries all around!
  6. Thanks and same! Let’s get these new lives started!
  7. Thank you so much! I’m more anxious to get it over with than anything. More nervous about being naked on a table than them cutting into me ???. I will definitely try to keep everyone posted as soon as I am able! And you definitely have support when your time comes. This is the best and most supportive group ever (I’m probably biased because of all of the awesome people here)!
  8. My last day of the pre-op diet and the eve of my surgery! I’ve been doing pretty good today. Less dizzy spells, headache is gone, I was able to prepare my mom’s lunch without feeling nauseous from the smell of the food, AND I’ve finally stopped being sad about the chewing thing, progress! lol. To everyone on their pre-op diet, stay strong! To everyone with dates coming up, I’m wishing you a speedy recovery. To everyone who has had their surgeries already this week, also wishing you speedy recovery. We’ve all got this! ?
  9. How did it go? Hope you’re healing up nicely!
  10. Seriously, I think we need a June 28th forum to check in with each other because there are so many of us!
  11. I’m sorry the first night was awful. Glad you are feeling better. Wishing you a speedy recovery and I’m sure the staff will take really good care of you
  12. Thank you! Maybe we need a June 28th surgery buddy thread to keep in touch with each other
  13. Thank you! I don’t know everyone’s location but there is a surgery buddy list on page 19 of this thread that will show you everyone’s dates. We have quite a few June 28th surgery dates
  14. Yay! Another June 28ther! Welcome! Wishing you a speedy recovery in advance!
  15. @Jolexis will be our sweet Indian Summer child! ??
  16. I’m on June 28th as well for bypass! Wishing everyone a speedy recovery!
  17. I hear they deflate it as much as possible but can’t get all of it out which why they get you up walking to try to get it out and also suggest gas x to help. And the visual was super hilarious ???
  18. lol, the visual is hilarious but true. And yes! Extend your life and make everyone irate ?
  19. Day 9! Clear liquids only. Good Lord it was harder to drink the clear isopure than it was to drink the protein shakes. Took me an hour and a half to get that first drink down. Deciding on whether or not to drink the second one for lunch or dinner. Somewhere in between I need to have some broth
  20. I’m told I’m very dark about the possibility of dying during surgery. My view oddly is that if I go, at least it would be peaceful, I wouldn’t know anything about it. But let’s get off of that morbid thought. There is a chance you will feel buyer’s remorse the first time you accidentally sip too much or eat a little too much and experience dumping. And it will suck for sure, but then you will look at the pounds and inches melting away and realize that you’ve made the right decision. Or so that’s what I believe. Good luck and you know we are all here supporting each other in this
