  1. At least yours was just 6, I gained 10 post op and I am still trying to get back down to my preop weight of 275. 1 week post op and I still have 2 more lbs to go to get there. Best wishes!
  2. Did you ever find out if you could crush or break your pills?
  3. Congrats! Your day will be here in no time!
  4. Praying for your speedy recovery, get well soon and keep us posted!
  5. I hope you are healing well! Welcome to the other side!
  6. You’re welcome! Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful
  7. You may have to ask your doctor if some pills are okay for crushing or breaking. Usually you switch to liquids and if not the pills have to be small enough to swallow with small amounts of water. I wish I had more advice for you
  8. @Shalainna @Kazzieloo thank you both so much for the encouragement! I’m trying to stay focused on getting my protein and liquids in. I’m hoping tomorrow or Friday I’ll be back at at least my preop weight and then work from there. I think I’m holding more gas than anything else
  9. I wish I was losing. I am a week post op tomorrow but the only thing I’ve been really trying to lose is the 10 lbs of gas weight I gained post op. So my goal has literally been me trying to get back to my preop weight
  10. Congrats and welcome to the post op side! The walking and gas x (if they will give it to you) will definitely help! The soreness definitely gets better over time. I still feel it 5 days post op but not as intensely! Here’s to a speedy recovery!!!
  11. Happy to be on the other side! It’s a challenge but I’m up for it ?
  12. I had gastric bypass surgery on June 28th and actually GAINED 10lbs post op. So I’ve been working on getting rid of the gas weight. Lost 5 of the 10lbs gained from surgery. I’ve been doing okay with liquids. Finally got 60g of protein in today so I was proud of that. This is definitely a process but I think I’m doing great with it so far. Can’t wait to see myself getting healthier and fitter
  13. I just got a simple one off of Amazon. I got it in 2x because of the measurements but I would’ve had a little more wiggle room with a 3x
  14. I just took it off because I needed a break but it definitely helped me move around better and with less pain
  15. So my stomach binder came in today and oh my God it was just what I needed! Everything feels held together nicely and I don’t have the granny walk when I wear it. Best $35 I’ve ever spent
  16. I’m so sorry about the infection! Get well soon!
  17. Congrats! Hope you are healing well!
  18. Great and then we can work on that celebratory rebirthday cake! ?
  19. See you on the post op side friend! Praying for your speedy recovery!
