  1. I was sleeved on October 26th. I was amazed at how quickly I recovered. I have had so many surgeries and have never recovered so quickly. I have lost about 26 pounds as of my 2 week appointment. I don't weigh myself because I'm afraid honestly of what the scale says. I can barely get food in I take 2 or 3 bits and instantly get nauseous and pain but I try. I'm afraid I'm not losing weight but when I look in the mirror I can see progress. I go through bouts of a little depression because I'm afraid I will just start gaining weight again......but I am determined to make this work. Its nice already having my clothes fall off.

Hey we are basically sleeve buddies! I was sleeved on 10/27, don't worry you got this! We all have our days some days I will get on the scale and it has it moved some days it days...I'm just trying to be patient and trust the process.

  2. Hi Josallyn, Welcome! Congrats on your new upcoming journey! Well I went throughout a doctor that participates with West medical and all I needed was 3 month supervised diet (I did 6months just to be sure), a visit with psychiatrist, and a nutrition appointment, that's pretty much it and just trying to stay in the same weight bracket. Blue shield is fast for approval and they are efficient I will say that! Thank you I feel great! I'm down 25lbs but it's different getting use to eating and learning how much you can and can not eat. Overall I definitely feel like I made a great decision, how everything goes well for you!

  3. Hey we are sleeve buddies! My surgery was on 10/28/2017 and Im down exactly 22 lbs. Great to hear you are doing so well and Congrats!

Thankfully everything is going well, I'm still on liquids till Saturday (so excited lol) and I had some gas pain which was my main issue post op and now it has traveled to my right shoulder the doctor said it will pass and is normal. I'm down 22lbs this far and walking 30mins daily. All is well! Hope everyone's journey goes well too!

So good to see how great all who got operated this month are doing. Tomorrow it will be me, am actually feeling calmer than I was yesterday, let's see how I feel tomorrow. My Dr said I can take something he prescribed for anxiety before heading to hospital tomorrow which won't be until 2 pm CET. I will post from the 'other side.'

Let me know how it goes, my date is today as well!
