I don't feel sleepy at all.. is it cuz my stomach is empty? Anyone else have this problem? What posture is easy for you? Sleeved on 8/25

Hey I got sleeved on 8/25 too !! I've never had nausea so far.. I burp quiet a bit but I walk n drink anything I have. Today I had sugar free chocolate pudding & protein shake.. idk which one it was but it made me run to the toilet n I felt kinda light headed after. I drink protein water as a replacement of water. In the first few weeks water won't be palatable cuz you're in ketosis phase ... try brushing often include your tongue.. glad you're doing so well! I can't have as much as you I'll have burp n pain so I have 2 ounces at a time n drink every hour if possible . Good luck !

I hear it's for a week! Walk walk walk away!! Every hour make 250 steps! Walk after u drink anything ... don't force that fart though cuz u don't wanna mess up your healing sutures ! Good luck

Thank you. Yeah I had to stay over & stay without fluids for 24 hours but I got through that. Day 4 can I have more quantity of fluid at a time ? How long will it be only 2oz at a time ?

I was sleeved on 25. I'm good so far, no pain killer ... clear fluids & jello but I can feel everything going in. Gas is still around n makes me burp so I walk n drink! Unable to take omeprazole cuz the capsule is too big to swallow ! No nerve pains for me I hope you get better soon dear !! Do exactly what doc says

I know what you're trying to say. I'm trying to ask if we will ever be back to normal of atleast being able to eat one sandwich while sometime ?

Do we ever get to when we can eat a whole sandwich ? Ever ? What do you do in social situations?

I'm unable to swallow the omeprazole capsule, if I open it up it won't dissolve n hence can't take it in . Post op day 2 now

No transfusion! Cleared to go home. This was so uneventful and my surgeon is really good! Thanks all your prayers n encouraging words helped. How slow do I start on fluids? Did any of you have cough post op ?

Thank you dearest darlings! I had no pain as such post op. Just sore but meds keeping a lot in check. Thanks for your prayers. I'll keep u posted how I am tomorrow. Hate that I'm not permitted any water today it's been over 30 hours I haven't had anything ... everything in my mouth is so dry. Tomorrow they do some test on me to check leaks , then they said I might also require blood transfusion

I have my Surgery on Friday! Can we have gasex to rid the gas? How long does gas pain exist ? Do you need incline to sleep? What's a good sleeping position post op? Any help is appreciated! Graziellabs I'll keep you in prayers [emoji1303]
